  • Thanks for watching.
Can’t wait to see everyone typing in the comments. “Dude, you totally bent the valves by doing that”

Dude that was a great video! 👍 I was cringing every time you hit that valve with a hammer 🔨. I was yelling “oil that valve” Elijah!! Glad to see it started to fire there at the end. Taryl has some great diy valve videos on the flat heads. Definitely watch those. Thanks for sharing dude!!!

Oh yeah, I was too with the hammering the valve down. I’ve seen plenty Mortske videos where he break valves in engines by hammering them down. The leather glove did a really good job at not scraping up the surface of the valve. Later that evening I started it again and it fired a few more rounds more than what it did in the video. Still has a huge head gasket leak. May have to do the JB quik like Black66 did with his engine 😂.

@@ElijahMiniBikes I haven’t seen the JB weld video yet. Sounds like a good quick fix.

It’s works looks like. I’ve heard that using metallic spray paints can rejuvenate head gaskets.

@@ElijahMiniBikes I’ve used copper spray on automotive head gaskets in the past. Wonder how well that would work here?

I mean, you saw in the video. Not doing to much. Avoiding the heat really.
