I was told by the Chiropractor treating my lumbar, thoracic spine injuries when I complained about the Scolibrace/Kypho design making my arms go numb (because the brace presses on nerves under the arms), that it's common for most people. He said eventually, the nerves under the arms will develop scar tissue/a sheath around the nerve. That is crazy to expect patients to tolerate numb hands/arms and wait for scar tissue to 'HOPEFULLY" form around the nerves! Why is this ok? I don't believe it's a good design even though it's based on a laser measurement. He cut it down under the arms but it still cuts off the circulation because the kypho design has thick strips under the arms. I don't have scoliosis but the design they made is for scoliosis. This is a very expensive arm-numbing devise! What do you advise for people who have arm/hands numbing from the brace under the arm pits?

But how do you secure the void space on the other side of the "pressing the patient's body". Heat it up to re-mold the PE?? or Only drilling a big hole? or, through virtually corrected body mold by 3d CAM/CAD ??

Excellent detailed instruction on exactly how to fit the brace so that it works properly. The instructions that came with the brace I purchased online were not very helpful. So glad I came across your video on youtube. Great job!

If this brace works why do so many doctors say bullshit? I’ve talked to several spinal surgeons now and they all said the same thing. These braces don’t correct anything. They only potentially stop the condition from getting worse.
