Building an Custom AFO (Ankle Foot Orthosis)

Collier practitioners take great pride in their work creating a customized AFO (ankle foot orthosis). Their greatest joy is seeing patients happy to get back to their daily activities.
First the patient is prepped so a cast of their leg, foot and ankle can be made.
The mold is then created, shaped and sanded down. The heat molded outer covering is applied and the finishing touches are made for the AFO.
Once the patient is fitted properly, they are ready to get back to their daily activities with less pain and more stability!
