How much Chuck would a woodchuck chuck if a woodchuck could chuck Chuck?
There were 2 cartoon series: "The New Adventures of Gilligan" in 1974 and "Gilligan's Planet" in 1982. There were talks about having a big screen movie of Gilligan's Island with a whole new cast. When asked, Sherwood Schwartz said that he could see Rick Moranis playing Gilligan. Unfortunately (or maybe fortunately) it never happened.
Being stranded with Ginger would be fun. The way my luck is I'd be stuck with a volleyball.
Just don't let him float away when you're not looking.
My favorite castaway was Ginger, but if I had to be stranded with just one, it would be Mary Ann.
That's a classic choice! Mary Ann definitely has that charm and resourcefulness that would make surviving on a deserted island a bit easier.

I thought this was about Patty's OTHER "secret". I'll see myself out now. 😁👍
Haha, I guess Patty's secrets are like onions - they have layers! But there's always more to discover!
Happy Thanksgiving everyone!! 😊
Thanks! Hope your day is stuffed with good vibes and yummy food!
I read that in the comic, Peppermint Patty's last name is "Reichardt". I always thought it was "York".
I got the sensation.
When she's talking to him she calls him Chuck. When she refers to.him while talking to the others, she calls him by his name because they do.
Interesting observation! It’s fascinating how people switch up names based on context. It adds a layer of complexity to relationships!
"The Dukes of Hazzard" had a Saturday morning cartoon called "The Dukes". One of the episodes is Christmas themed entitled, "A Dickens of a Christmas".
Totally! That episode was a blast! Who else remembers Bo and Luke getting into holiday shenanigans on the cartoon series. I admit I don't think I ever saw that animated version. I need to look it up? Good times!
@@PaulVanScott The cartoon had 20 episodes. The first 13 had Coy and Vance. Then, without explanation, Bo and Luke replaced them for the final 7 episodes.
Ha ha wild how they do stuff like that. Were all the other characters on it?
@@PaulVanScott The Duke Boys, Daisy, Uncle Jesse, Boss Hogg and Roscoe were in the cartoon. No Cooter, Enos, Cleatus or Balladeer.
If Bo and Luke couldn't leave Hazzard County due to their probation, how could they race around the world? Boss and Roscoe could have arrested them, thrown them in jail and there would be no chance of them winning prize money to save Jesse's farm.
Nice video, I've never seen one of your videos before but your voice sounded familiar, and by the end it hit me. You sound sort of like Casey Kasem on the radio. I had to go listen to one of his top 40 count down tracks. Anyway, It's not a Holiday without watching Charlie Brown, I still have my VHS recordings from the early 80s of all of them with the commercials. I did rip them to video files because the tapes are too old
Good job, thats the way to keep those Peanuts specials alive. Lol, you are not the first person to say that about my voice. We both have extensive radio backgrounds so that might have something to do with it. Also I do a Casey Kasem impression that my wife says is spot on, so there's that. Anyway thanks for watching and commenting.
i remember that show. i have seen it so many times that i caught on to that. back when charles Schulz died i baught a newspaper with the last Charlie brown comic. i actually still have it. he wrote it from the hospital the day before he died. if your a fan you might want to look up the last comic. he wrote a massage at the end. if you got this far. you should resd it.
It's amazing how much impact those characters had on our lives! The last comic is definitely a poignant read. Thanks for sharing your thoughts!
Hermey as a baby crawled into Santa’s bag while Santa was making deliveries and was never brought back home.
Sounds like Hermey took "finding your true calling" to a whole new level-who knew being a dentist could start with a sleigh ride?
I love this one but at the end what's up with Woodstock eating some turkey
Haha, I know, right? Woodstock's got some wild eating habits! Gotta love that little guy! Maybe it was a tofu turkey.
Kinda reminds me how in the peanuts special that came out in the same year as this one "There's no time for love, Charlie Brown" peppermint patty insulted Charlie Brown and she felt bad, then she tells Marcie on her school bus "I don't know what you can do for Charlie Brown but I sure know what you can do for me" and it was just for Marcie to stop calling her sir which was a funny moment in that special.
Ah, the timeless struggle of Peppermint Patty-fighting for her identity while managing Charlie Brown's insecurities! Classic Peanuts humor at its finest!
Wow, in all my years of watching I always thought it was Burl, I guess next your gonna tell me that Frosty wasn’t patterned after Jackie Vernon. Love the videos. 👏🏽
Thank you so much for your kind words! I'm thrilled to hear you're enjoying the content and discovering new things along the way!
Just not the same being on fake tv
I feel you! Nothing beats the real thing, right? It’s like comparing a home-cooked meal to a TV dinner-no contest!
I liked it
So you're saying it wasn't a total flop? I’ll take that as a win!
Why does Marcie (Marcy?) call Peppermint Patty "sir"?
Great question! Marcie calls Peppermint Patty "sir" as a term of respect, reflecting her admiration for her friend's confidence and leadership. That and the fact that she is a bit goofy.
@@PaulVanScott 😂😂 Thanks. I have loved Peanuts since I was a child (born 1956). I used to cherish my Peanuts paperback books. Thanks for your videos.
Hey, thank you for watching.
I never noticed, but it does make sense.
It's amazing how sometimes the simplest things can click when you least expect it! Glad you found it insightful!
Peppermint Patty's secret was that she was Jen Psaki.
Who knew Peppermint Patty had such a powerful political connection? Next, we’ll find out Charlie Brown is running for president!
I been saying this for years. He looks and acts nothing like the other elves.
Totally feel you on that! It’s cool to see someone else thought that too.?
3:32 that's the same dance that snoopy did on shroder's piano in the christmas movie!
Good eye. I noticed the same thing. Gotta love that Snoopy.
I am confused Thanksgiving is in October🇨🇦
It can definitely be confusing! In Canada, Thanksgiving is celebrated on the second Monday of October, while in the U.S. it's in November. Different traditions, but both are all about gratitude and good food!
I'm pretty sure most of us know Peppermint Patty's "secret"
It's interesting how many layers there are to Peppermint Patty's character, isn't it?
I've become such a fan of this channel in the past week or so.
Awesome to hear you're loving the channel! Glad to have you on board!
Peppermint Patty's remorse is actually a hidden sociopathic move. She doesn't accept her fault for inviting herself, but rather redirects it by saying once again that everyone is going to CB's grandmother's house and putting more pressure on him not to push back. By calling him by his proper name, she makes him feel special under the guise of manipulation. I am a LONG time fan of the Peanuts gang for almost 50 years, and this video really made me see that Patty is truly a cruel manipulator towards extroverts.
The only issue I have with that is she didn't call him by his proper name in his presence. If you notice in the clip he wasn't around when PP addressed the gang. So it couldn't make " him feel special under the guise of manipulation".
@@PaulVanScott good catch! I will take that one part back from my original thought, but I do think she's subconsciously sociopathic due to resenting her father since he's allegedly the only parent in her house.
Poor Franklin- made to sit by himself on the other side of the table. 😵
They are doing him a solid. As a kid you always want to be on the side with the most room. I used to fight with my sisters about it and my mom would make us take turns on who got to sit on the side by themselves. More elbow room, more room to put stuff on either side of your plate, you could see everybody else and they could see you the best. I feel sorry for Schroeder and Lucy, they weren't invited at all.
Franklin is the only one sitting on that side of the table 😮

The only Black kid at the table. Ohh 😳
I don't have Apple TV (neither do my folks), unless they show on a regular channel.
I feel you! Apple TV can be a bit exclusive. Fingers crossed they start airing the Peanuts Gang on regular TV soon!
I’m sorry. That snowman does not look like the creator.
A little maybe. But they tried.
I thought I saw Hermey in the new Jaguar advertisement...
Hmmm. I'll have to check it out.
Have Yukon Cornelius take a DNA test.
Who knows, maybe Hermey's got some long-lost relatives all over the North Pole!
It's more about Snoopy and Woodstock being friends.
Yeah good call. Snoopy imagines he is fighting The Red Baron, maybe he also dreams of him and Woodstock with a real Thanksgiving Day dinner.
Sounds plausible to me.
Thanks. I'll take it.
I have a suggestion for a "deep dive" on an episode of the Andy Griffith Show. On the episode "A Feud is a Feud" the actress acting under the name Tammy Windsor has a weird mystery about her. Some people say her real name was Karyn Kupcinet and she was murdered a few years after this episode and the murder is still unsolved. There is another story that Tammy Windsor was someone else entirely. It is very weird and odd.
Thank you for sharing such an interesting topic! I appreciate your suggestion, and I’ll definitely consider diving deeper into that mystery!
😎
Thanks, as always.
Maybe that's why he was so adverse to attending "Elf Improvement" classes! Haha!
Haha, right? I guess he preferred to stick with his "natural" human charm instead of attending those classes!
Why is Franklin seated opposite everyone else? You know why?

i loved those shows
Same here! Those shows were the best! What was your favorite part?
WHAT are you going on about?😂
No one is sure, including me.
Omg it's like you watched the special and understood it, like millions of children have before! I'm so shocked!
For me that's an accomplishment.
Was it ever on any of the DVDS or VCRs? I was a kid in the 2000s and remember seeing it at school. Our teachers would show us the peanuts specials during holidays
Yeah some people have said it was on the DVDs as a special feature. I doubt it was ever on any of the VHS'.
I watched this show numerous times, and I never noticed that. Wow, nice observation ! new subscriber here now. I'm going to binge watch your channel. U have an awesome voice, btw
I really appreciate your support! It means a lot to have you as a new subscriber. I'm glad you enjoyed the observation-happy watching!
I always thought it was unintentionally a bit cruel how Franklin was given the "bad" chair, and was seated opposite of the rest of the group. (Separation?) Plus, Snoopy fixes this feast for the kids, then after they leave for Charlie Brown's grandma, he ends up cooking a FULL SIZE TURKEY in a matter of a few seconds, and, here's the topper, serves it to Woodstock, ANOTHER BIRD!
Thank you for sharing your thoughts! It’s always great to hear different perspectives on these classic scenes. Your insights really add depth to the conversation about these beloved characters!
Thank goodness that's all. I though you were going to say Peppermint Patty's trans.
Well, wouldn't that just stir up a whole new kind of debate in the Great Pumpkin Patch?
This is so cute the theme of this video
Cute? I thought it was a masterclass in adorableness ha ha! Glad you enjoyed it!
I always assumed Patty had a crush on Charlie Brown and calling him Chuck was her special name for him, not a dismissive sign of disrespect.
It's interesting how different interpretations can change our understanding of characters! Patty and Charlie Brown definitely have a unique dynamic.
God bless and happy Thanksgiving!
Same to you!
