Absolutely!! Thank you so much 🙏🏻♥️ I often use my Dutch oven to make bread and sometimes finish it out of the pot and on the hot stone for an additional 10 minutes to get the crust a bit crispier 😁

@@KidneySafeMeals you’re right, gnocchi are dumplings, as are gnocchi made from ricotta, potato, or pâte à choux, and other variations. This is gnocchi di pane and is indeed a delicious Italian dish that I’ve enjoyed many times with my Sicilian great-grandmother. 😊

1 T of yeast. What sort of yeast is that that comes in a box. Not in my country.
There are small packets of yeast that can be found in grocery stores. I bake so much that online I buy 1 or 2-pound bags of yeast that come vacuum sealed, so they look like big bricks 😊 It stores very well in a plastic container in the refrigerator.
@@kitchenbravo9237 Interesting. I presume bakeries probably can buy yeast like that here, but I've never seen it. Otherwise it comes in 10gram sachets. There is also 7g sachets for bread machines available in supermarkets here. I suppose the 7g is the 1¼t that bread machine recipes tend to require.
@@meisievannancy you may be able to get yeast from bakeries. Sometimes we can get lucky and the owners / managers are happy to accommodate. I find the best prices for yeast is on Amazon. As for the yeast marked “for bread machines”, it’s just a label. Rapid rise, instant, and bread machine labeled yeasts are all the same and can be used interchangeably, so don’t worry about variations as there really aren’t any as far as dry yeast goes 😊
Would have been nice to discuss what to do with the leftover pasta. Dry it? Freeze it? Also, Parmesan from a jar? Seriously? All that effort and excitement around fresh pasta and grating a chunk across the top was too much?
Fresh pasta can keep in the refrigerator but only for a couple of days, tops. At my house there usually isn’t any left over pasta, I cooked a small amount for the video. As for the pre-grated Parmesan cheese, well I had JUST run out of fresh 😉

My machine goes the other way around, 1 being the thickest and 9 the thinnest. Depending on the pasta I put varying amounts of semolina, angel hair being the least, I only use it for light dusting, and tortellini being the highest for structure at about 50%. I also sometimes use a pasta rack at home, though I never did as a chef. Thank you for not putting salt into your dough.
I do enjoy using my pasta rack though admittedly I don’t use it often enough. As for the salt, that’s in the water and not the noodles.. It’s all about that silky smooth texture in the dough! 😊
@@kitchenbravo9237 I totally agree about the salt, I tend to use my rack for heavier ribbons like pappardelle and mafaldine. You should have far more subscribers, your channel looks like you cook 'real' food.

3 egg whites 1/2 t of cream of tartar Add next ingredients to pot on stove 1/3 Water 3/4 c corn syrup 3/4 c sugar Devolve sugar Cook till 240 degrees Than slowly addd to whipped egg whites
It’s important to not disturb the sugar mixture as it cooks so as to not form crystals. Also, be very careful when SLOWLY pouring the boiling mixture into the egg whites as they whip up 👍🏻

Hi! It’s a simple manual pasta roller with an attachment that came with it. This particular machine usually runs about $30-$40. It’s clamps onto the counter and has a manual handle and is super easy to operate and clean 😊
Do I have to add gelatin?
Hi! For marshmallow fluff there’s no gelatin added. This is the same that you would find in a jar on the shelf at your local grocery. I’ll be making a video on formed / shaped marshmallows very soon which will require gelatin 😊

hey there! i usually have a pretty stale bread, like 5 days old or so. do you think that if I shred the tough skin of the bread, and "bathe"" the remaining flesh of the bread in very hot water, could it be used in this recipe? thank you!
Absolutely! If you wanted to even grate the harder outer parts of the bread into the milk mixture that would work too, and nothing would be wasted 😉

Cabbage is very much underrated as a food. I know this and variants of this recipe well - I make it myself with a Russian recipe, but now I am preferring a CHORIZO sausage for that extra zing effect. That guy in the background walking past - rope him in as your cameraman and get those different angled close-up shots. 👍
LOL, he was my camera man for a while and still is from time to time : ) I'm working on a set up to help get better angles ; ) His channel is Chomp Chomp Chewy and his dishes are crazy delicious! I absolutely LOVE cabbage - you're so right it is terribly underrated. I do love chorizo and will use it in a lot of my dishes, but it's a bit too greasy for this particular dish. My great-grandmother would make this when I was a little girl and it's so easy and good. I do hope you are doing well my friend!

Is this what you would use to make chocolate covered marshmallow easter eggs?
To make the marshmallow eggs I would add gelatin to keep the structure, set the candy and then cut with cookie cutters 👍🏻
What kind of flour?
I use all purpose flour - I get it by the 50# bag 😉
What if you are using almond flour? Is there anything extra
Almond flour will be denser and drier and not hold its structure because there’s no gluten.
