I pray that Australia stops it's downward spiral to become just like the rest of the world, to lose its unique identity. I hope and pray that the politicians cease and desist their insistence to literally sell huge tracts of prime farmland and mining interests to foreign (China) corporate interests, the politicians insistence on making Australia the most expensive as far as utilities (gas, water, electric) im the western world. I hope and pray that we stop our politicians from slowly but surely destroying our public health system, which will make our health care dependant on how rich the ill are, only to be turned away if they can't afford to be sick. I love this country, and it makes me feel physically sick to see what's happening here.

I've travelled around the world, and, in my experience, Australia is one of the few places where you won't find trash on the streets. Littering will cop you a $225 fine, so nobody does it.

Ahhh Straddie. We had family there when I was growing up in the 70s. Near Amity point, where there was a big jetty. And the fishing was amazing. And fire on the beach to cook them if we were up on cylinder. Good times. So glad you got to experience this!

My commiserations for 9/11. Ten Australians died in that atrocity. But thankfully nobody that I knew. It changed my perception of the world, forcing me to rethink my goals in life and how tenuous our existence is. Not everyone has all the time in the world to achieve their goals. Tomorrow is not a given. I quit my job a year later and went to Uni to get a degree. Then taught English for 12 years in South Korea, China, Turkey, Czech Republic, Slovakia and Romania. Didn't make much money, but had a lot of fun travelling all over the world.

Not a big fan of this, it’s like they are making them perform. Not my cup of tea for sure. There is a good elephant sanctuary in Thailand where they rehabilitate elephants that were injured or used in bad ways. I wouldn’t personally give money to this establishment.

Too hectic for me, I think I prefer deserted beaches here in Australia.

Is there a elephant place near by well I went to one one time gassed as jumped in the pit with the handler swaying with vipers then slapping them lol they bought out a massive ass cobra that had bitten 1 of the handlers and his arm was all messed up when that fella came out I moved up a seat from ground level 😂

Just a small thing guys, for everyone watching if you visit our coast, please be careful of our dune life if it’s got vegetation on it, erosion is a massive problem (sorry to be a downer). Try The Grampians in Victoria .. so much wildlife, waterfall walks and some beautiful scenery only a few hours from Melbourne. Also, I live in a beautiful place called Kangaroo Island in South Australia .. it’s colder water than in Queensland but has sugar white sands, seals, swimming with dolphins and gorgeous scrubby bush. Koalas, kangaroos and echidnas live here too! Glad you like our country, come back soon!

I'm an Englishman from London I moved to Australia 32 years ago it was the best decision of my life Australia is a beautiful Country the people are easy going I would recommend it anyone interested in a better lifestyle.

Reminds me of the time I fell off a see-saw and landed face-first on it. I didn't lose a tooth but I had a bleeding nose and a cut lip from it. I treated it with a bit more caution after that.
