For the people critiquing Michonne basically closing Alexandria off to anyone who wasn't already there, lets think on this. After Rick "died" on that bridge, I'm sure at some point Maggie came clean about messing with the relay and thus making the herd head towards their homes. Meaning Rick was distracted and so what happened happened. Michonne let her live but basically closed off Alexandria from Hilltop and by means of association Kingdom and Oceanside too. Then, while going through all 9 months alone, she's trying to raise Judith correctly, take care of the baby RJ growing inside her, Alexandria, and looking for ANY sign of Rick's body. Her bff shows up at her gate. She lets her in, elated to see a part of the old world. What she knew. Only to find out her bff has turned full sociopath and wants to unalive her, Judith, and unborn RJ. Also Daryl. In that process of fighting back, she has to end her bff, and worst the other children! That title of Scars isn't juat physical, its also mental. She's scarred for life. Especially unaliving kids WHILE she's pregnant. She's lucky she didn't lose RJ in the process and I don't think Michonne could have snapped back at all if RJ was miscarried. So I stand by Michonne's decision, I can't even fathom what it would be like to go through all of this. I've only lost pets and grandparents so far and still feel shattered and broken at times, I can't even begin to think on how shattered ALL the people of TWDU are. At some point you can't pick up the pieces and carry on. Excellent reaction Dan, hope you are having a lovely Holiday Season!
I recommend maybe watching Z NATION it’s another zombie show that is just as good to watch but it takes itself less intense than twd I would love to watch a reaction to it because practically no one else reacts to it
Michonne wasn't the only one who wanted to cut ties with the other communities, it was all the other parents in Alexandria who had their kids taken too. I don't like how everyone always tries to put the sole blame on just Michonne. I agree with all Michonne thoughts and decisions after she had to go through that trauma, no one can feel how she must have felt having to deal with all of what she had to do the only other person who could is Daryl, he knows what happened and seen how it affected Michonne. You don't see him having attitude towards her because of her decisions because he was with her during it all.
i too condoned michone for thr way shd treated the other communities and put up the no contact and not allowed in, but finally seeinv the reason that your own friend can stab you in the back and kidnap your children i wouldnt trust anyone let alone outsiders.
While I find this ep phenomenally acted, IMO it still does not fully justify Michonne cutting off those that she loved & survived with until losing Rick 😔
It is not unusual for an actor to give their character thoughts and feelings and sometimes whole backstories that are not the page. It is how they develop the way in which they will act as the character. And sometimes that is different from what the writers have in their heads. And a savvy writer, producer, actor, knows that people view things through their own filters, their own experiences. If everyone thought and felt the same, life would be boring.

The fight scene at the end between Michonne and the kids was edited so well. The way the kept cutting between the kids and walkers just fantastic.

Acting in this episode was so good. Normally Child actors are kind of bad but Judith's actress is killing it.
