As I always love to state. Watched this show when it aired on day 1. So I 1000% understand the excitement for the freshness after 8 seasons!! I was just as bubbly with all the "lowkey" style changes too!!! Keep up the epic work 🤩
So excited your title is extremely accurate it is a new age. I think a time jump was needed there’s so much more story to tell now. I’m so happy for carol she deserves to be happy, it’s so cool to see everyone working together even Jadis is helping out. You noticed how it feels like it’s filmed differently that’s because they switched from 16mm anamorphic film to digital film.
I was going to say this season feels so different not just because of the content, but because they switched to digital from physical film. I always loved the grittiness of physical film, but obviously you can't match digital for quality.
We definitely needed something new after nearly two seasons of The Saviors storyline arc. They were dragging it out for way too long. Now imagine how long we had to wait for a new direction. Literally years. 😂
The museum they went to was actually filmed in the Capitol building in downtown Atlanta Georgia. If you ever watched the news in Atlanta you know that big staircase. This season is wild!
Gregory has to be the dumbest, blinded-by-pride character in the show. He had it all working for him: secured a place like Hilltop since the beginning, managed to appease the Saviors, survived the war, escaped death at least twice... all he had to do was accept Maggie as the people's choice and engage in a fair and needed opposition to her in the community. Seeing his death always amazes me as how stubborn and stupidly proud a person can be.
Ezekiel has loved Carol since she was at the Kingdom then he moved her into that little house next to the Kingdom. He kept coming to see her and she liked it but played it off. She doesn’t like being vulnerable. You definitely overthink everything which can take away from the experience of enjoying the show. But I love how invested you are in the show and your perspectives. Chill a bit😊
I personally disagree. For two reasons: 1. Hilltop can barely sustain itself becouse it has to feed it's residents AND the Saviors so keeping prisoners isn't really an option 2. Gregory has already betrayed the group TWICE and been given a chance at redemption. He showed he doesn't want redemption but power instead thus was a threat.
Nah b/c Gregory most likely would have tried to get rid of Maggie after he would have eventually been let go. Maggie gave Gregory every chance to just accept her presence at hilltop but he squandered every chance that she gave him.
Gregory has zero redeeming qualities. He was horrible the whole series (even though he was funny at times). Yeah he should have been imprisoned instead of executed, but I'm not upset that he's gone. He was given 100 chances and spat in the face of mercy every time.
I’ve been waiting for him to get to season 9, HE IS GONNA BE SO HYPED
Definitely one of my favourite seasons of the entire show! I LOVE S9 and I think you will too.
Reminder no spoilers please!
I love it when these reactions are so long 😊
I'm not gonna lie S9 is probably my fav season of the show so I'm really excited to see you go through it!
28:07 Famous Rick Grimes 😇❤ 😂😂
Let’s go! My favourite seasons and story arc…

Yes!!! One of the best seasons

Season 9 is so good, especially after such a long, at times slow, and definitely hard season 8.
I got rid of the mean comments in your thread
@@ellereacts528 thank you!
@@DMarie2101 you are welcome

Hype
The intro was 🔥
Not long now...
Yeaaah I think Maggie should’ve locked up Gregory because the whole execution thing is pretty barbaric & especially the fact that kids saw it

Gregory had it coming, and who cares that some dum kids saw it
@@tomaskooo3478I do agree with him that the kids shouldn’t have been able to see it but I also agree that Gregory had it coming the slimy prick
