    Good or bad? Yes. They are. Both. My worst knife ever was an Eafengrow, made in China. It was supposed to be better than a cheap, gas station knife. It wasn’t. My best folder is probably a Kunwu. It’s my most expensive, $30 more than my Benchmade Bugout, but feels like it cost at least twice as much as the Bugout, if not more. OTH, I just ordered an Italian folder. We’ll see how that goes. I have no Chinese fixed blade knives, so I can’t comment on them. My best fixed blade is American, but I have some wonderful fixed blades from Spain, Sweden, and Finland.

    Interesting that my Microtech OTF has the word UT-X85 and feature only 5 screws. But it does have the 10/2010 date code and serial #01955. Plus all the logos and markings seems nicely printed. Oh well, maybe it's a ultra counterfeit or an outdated design at least it still function well.

    If you are elderly your risk of death or serious illness with covid is 1 in 8. If you have to go to the hospital at all, you are at elevated risk of dying or serious complications ( usually from clotting ) for 90 days after discharge. My parents are in their late 70s. We have all had the vaccines as have our extended families. And because of where we live and our backgrounds eveyone in our network had at least one vaccination. We know of no one in our circle who died from covid. The same cant be said Herman Caine or judging by all the posts that were on Facebook. I live in WA state one of the earliest states hit. We masked for a long even after De Santis FL declared it over. After the Delta wave hit, even though WA had one of the earliest outbreaks, our total per capita death rate over the two years was lower than Florida's Idaho decided to drop their mask ban right before Delta and they almost had to begin triaging and sending the sickest home to die while their Gov was crowing how great ID was. They were sending sick people to WA state filling our hospitals with their pigheadedness. Worried about another possible surge WA governor was debating turning them away unless they brought back maskind and testing.

    I’m in Ohio too, I believe carrying a switchblade is now legal because constitutional carry passed. Before that point I think you were required to have a CCW Permit because they consider it a “weapon”…

    The Palestinians didn't take the shots the Jews did . The number of covid cases went up 9 thousand percent after heavily jabbed Israel took the fourth shot . Sorry you got sick glad you recovered . How do know the covid protocol did not almost kill you ? Answer you don't know and have no right to call me a fool . I know there are millions of us who are glad we didn't fall for it

    I've watched many reviews on the wave plus. This one is perhaps the best. Why? Because he explained the advantages and disadvantages, as well as his experience in using the Multi tool. The reviewer just wasn't showing you the capabilities, Which many millennial reviewers do, And that's not value added; But rather a waste of time. Thanks for a great view and keep up the great work!

    Hello, Thank you for your TH-cam video. I got a lot of ideas to clean up the cord tripping stand issue in my painting studio. Yes having all the equipment on the floor can be inconvenient, if not dangerous in my case while I am doing a painting demo. That said I am not concerned with making holes in my ceiling in order to install a galvanized poll for hanging lights and even my microphone(s). Currently my mic is on a stand as our my NEEWER Bi Color 660 LED Video Lights. It looked as if you had the same or similar lights. How did you attach the lights and mic securely while allowing for good rotation? If you would explain that I would appreciate that as well. Thank you,

    I'm old enough to remember that Japanese cars were considered cheaply made and a bad investment. The Chinese are taking over everything manufactured, knives included. Their production lines are extremely efficient and mistakes not tolerated.

  • @Dracomies
    @Dracomies ปีที่แล้ว

    I'm about 2 years late in my response but I can at least offer my thoughts on this. You're right in a lot of areas. First, the price. Thing is you won't be able to find this knife at $125. You won't be able to find it at its true price anymore. This is a knife that has actually appreciated in value (some knives can do that). I overpaid like hell to get it :P I paid $290. Sometimes I'll pay to have it. Another example of a knife that appreciated in value is the Titanium F5.5. Can you find that at $269? I couldn't. Everyone is selling that for much more. So on a pricepoint I agree with you. It's overpriced and it's going up in value like Amazon stock. On youtuber influence, yes! But the thing is the person who had me interested is Cedric. Cedric's tests are objective. You see him cutting 500 ropes. Or 1000 ropes. Lot of his videos are just straight up facts. If you see a knife cutting 575 ropes. It's not so much an opinion, it's data. I've watched all his videos and I've studied his preferences. His current EDC is now the Neutron 2, which has replaced his Spyderco. That speaks volumes to me. That tells me there's something here. There was another reviewer, Knife Nerdery and he has a LOT of different knives. But in the end he mentioned his top EDCs were the Waypoint (which I have and agree with) and the Neutron 2. Truth be told I'm set to get the Neutron 2 this Monday. But I'm skeptical if it'll even beat out a Civivi Altus. But I definitely will put it through its paces and will compare it to knives I have, ie Civivi Altus, QC Waypoint, Seb Small, etc. But overall I'm glad that you've put out this vid because I thought the same way as well. Sometimes hype overtakes the real thing. It's honestly....indirectly..why I actually think my Civivi Altus is better flat-out better than every Benchmade Bugout. It's not a popular opinion. But similar to you, it's what I learned from comparison.

    USA 🇺🇸 companies like Schrade, Remington, Buck or Winchester... are made cheaply by the Chinese at American request to keep value at low cost. Chinese manufacturing knives from your private designer from USA, Europe and China like kizer, Kubey, Ganzo, Civivi and much more... are made with high incredible manufacturing and there getting better and better!

    I like this one a lot. They have 15 different launch versions so they are all different sizes and shapes. Depending what I'm wearing I will choose a different size and this fits quite a few change pockets without being too small like the 9, but that will stick in just about any change pocket. So if you're looking for smaller change pocket knives the 4, 9, and 11 are really good choices with the 11 being on the larger side of that equation.

    they brought back the Freek for 2023. :) Not sure if that will include a SF. I believe they are and was mentioned in a SHot Show 2023 interview by either Blade HQ or KnifeCentre...availble with CF/S90V....maybe also Alu/K390....and a bunch of new colour ways. Odd Benchmade isn't giving us a "basic model' with Alu/S30V...still oly in "Grivery"...

    Thanks for the very helpful vid. With the varipole system, how do you stop the cross pole from twisting around when attaching the clamps that hold the light. It seems like basic gravity kicks in and will spin the clamp around until its pointed downward, which makes it challenging to find a solution to angle the attached light source.

First of all, that's a nothing statement. Those words together do not make a sentence. Second, yup, really makes it difficult for me to measure because my eyes are so fixated on the pliers just sticking up all loose and dangely.
