October man?give me a clue folks,I like anything with John mills, must say this one escapes me, what's the story?

Jon Mills was a brilliant actor, he adapted to so many different roles. Hobson Choice is on of my favourite films ( it’s in black and white ) he stared in. He played a simple cobbler who was bullied by his boss. It’s a heartwarming and funny film. The Family way is another ( colour film ).

The October Man (1947). With Sir John Mills, Joan Greenwood, Kay Walsh, and Edward Chapman.

I loved this movie. Still do. I lost count of the number of times I’ve seen it. I bought the DVD years ago, too! I never tire of it. The message is still appropriate for today's audiences! The remake was AWFUL! Don't bother with it! This, the original, is terrific! I watch it at least once a year!
