this dialog wouldn't be politically correct nowadays
Peter Cook and Peter Sellers in The Wrong Box (1966)
I've never seen a tap dancer that equaled the skill and diversity of style shown by Eleanor Powell.
Why if it isn't, Inspector Lastrade
😍😍😍
Great marriage test. Chain yourself up together for a day or two.😅
It sure is a good test! 😂
Ray Bulger in The Great Zeigfeld (1936) ❤️
The greatest Sherlock Holmes ever
Agreed! He was the BEST! 😍
Beautiful ❤ Thanks for showing my favourite again. Good reminder of Madeline Carroll's talents as well.
You are most welcome! And yes, Madeleine Carroll was absolutely brilliant! 😍
Movie: The 39 Steps, 1935. Starring: Robert Donat and Madeleine Carroll.
Movie: Trio, "Sanatorium" (1950). Starring: Jean Simmons, Michael Rennie, Roland Culver, Raymond Huntley and John Laurie.
Artistic expression of megalomania. Don't think anyone could have equalled this.❤
I absolutely agree. It still stands head and shoulders above anything that is produced now.
No acted that realistic than , well maybe 1 or 2 , but it was scary
Charlie Chaplin in The Great Dictator (1940)
Interesting words, this week especially. Food for thought.

Love Crazy (1941) ❤️

It is such a fun film with a fabulous cast! I highly recommend it 😍❤️
Jewel Robbery (1932) ❤️
Brilliant actors great movie
It certainly is brilliant!! 😍
October man?give me a clue folks,I like anything with John mills, must say this one escapes me, what's the story?
Written by Eric Ambler, who also produced it. John Mills plays a man who is suspected of murder, and the lingering effects of a brain injury he sustained in an earlier accident, as well as an intensive police investigation, make him begin to doubt whether he is innocent.
Jon Mills was a brilliant actor, he adapted to so many different roles. Hobson Choice is on of my favourite films ( it’s in black and white ) he stared in. He played a simple cobbler who was bullied by his boss. It’s a heartwarming and funny film. The Family way is another ( colour film ).
I absolutely agree. I love him. He was an amazingly versatile actor, and he seemed to be the loveliest of men.
The October Man (1947). With Sir John Mills, Joan Greenwood, Kay Walsh, and Edward Chapman.
I love this movie! It's so funny!
It's one of the best comedies ever 😍❤️
I never saw this movie, but I will!
i really enjoyed it! Michael is just so wonderful in it!! 😍
I loved this movie. Still do. I lost count of the number of times I’ve seen it. I bought the DVD years ago, too! I never tire of it. The message is still appropriate for today's audiences! The remake was AWFUL! Don't bother with it! This, the original, is terrific! I watch it at least once a year!
I couldn't agree with you more!! I will never tire of watching this movie - it is just so good!! I remember seeing the poster for the new one and laughed at how bad it looked!! Nothing (and I mean NOTHING!) will ever be better than the original!! 😍🙌🏻
Nice tribute piece!
I'm so glad you like it! 😍
Not quite as over the top as I remembered ❤
I can never say these words in normal life without doing an impression of Edith 😅😅🤣
Movie: The Magic Box, 1951. Starring: Robert Donat, Maria Schell and Margaret Johnson. This film also features cameos and appearances from stars such as Eric Portman, Richard Attenborough, Laurence Oliver, Robert Beaty, Margaret Rutherford and Renée Asherson.
