Tribute to The Dam Busters 1955

One of, in my opinion, the best British war films, The Dam Busters, is the dramatisation of Royal Air Force 617 Squadron and Operation Chastise, in a mission to destroy Rhur dams in WW2 using the bouncing bomb.
Richard Todd stars as Wing Commander Guy Gibson, alongside Michael Redgrave, Derek Farr, Bill Kerr, and Patrick McGoohan.

Correct. It was a term generally used towards black folk and in a highly offensive way - which was the whole point.

We visited it a couple of years ago. It's beautiful, isn't it. I found it quite moving, actually 🤩🤩
