Loved this analysis. There is so much i learnt just from this one video. I just recently graduated and i am one year into clinical trials. I do not think i can have the courage to invest in a stock involving clinical trials just because of how clinical trials operate and how integrity is a problem. On reddit it is the same thing amongst workers, everyone is very dissatified. However besides my biased take, i agree with your decision. it is definitely a sell. It reminds me of the Elizabeth holmes and "Theranos" scandal. The lack of transparency to provide the processes of how they manage to look at a locations at significant low numbers is questionable. The reduction of primary and secondary endpoints is my biggest red flag. Do you think that the sole reason they took out most of the primary endpoints is because of the negatIve outcomes or to lessen the financial stress since less tests will be done? I think 8/8 is very likely to push the stock higher no matter the gains leading up. Musk now appears to care about the share price where he didn't before. Before the last earnings call, when TSLA was in free fall, Musk was tweeting to protect the share price and he successfully (and rapidly) stopped the bleeding. Likely motivated by the Delaware decision, among other things. Then the last earnings call was used to appeal to Wall Street in ways I can't recall seeing out of Tesla in years. I don't think 8/8 turns into a share price dud like AI and Battery Day. I expect Musk to dumb it down for analysts and use it as a catalyst to drive the share price higher.

You got a shout out on Invest Answers Tesla video this morning! With the Texas vote, I thought I read that non votes are counted as no votes. So if institutions don't care about it, wouldn't they just not vote, and then it's counted as a no vote? If non votes are counted as no's then it seems very difficult for it to pass, no?

Sorry, but your take is off on Texas. I agree with your comp package assessment, however the Texas vote is off. Reason being is because the vote is based on the total of the outstanding shares, not the number of shares voted. In other words, an absentee vote on Texas is equivalent to a no vote.

How does the model account for shareholders holding different amounts of shares? How do you know how many shares are represented by the 90% of the 29% that voted retail in the 2018 example? In a hypothetically example, if Tesla had a total of 1000 shares outstanding, then 300 or 30% would be owned by retail, and 700 or 70% would be owned by Institutional. There is no way to know if the 90% of the 29% that voted on the retail side represents 20 shares of the 300 retail shares, or 200 shares of the 300 retail shares.

Here is what you overlooked unfortunately: The vote of those that do not vote counts as a NO on Texas. 🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️ I don't know why it's set up like that.
