I’m a Mopar and Chevrolet fan but this was strongly felt in the sense of memories and money us car guys come together no matter are differences in the cars we like
This is a great video! But…. Don’t call cameros trash again lol
Wait till you drive a Honda
Where are you getting all this money at such a young age what do you do for work?
getting out of a 2008 gt now I'm looking for a c6
Sick
new eclipserollens solar-rolz
Very wholesome informative, and entertaining!
Much appreciated!
Great storyteller
Thanks!
my first car was a 2010 v6 mustang automatic, always loved fast and furious and cars and all the others, just like you i chose for my next car to be a manual v8, i wanted a 2001 svt cobra but i really liked the pre face lift s197s so now i got a 2007 shelby gt (not the 500) its only 319 horsepower but that short shifter is so fun (yes the check engine lights always on and yeah it has a bad computer getting that fixed now) worth it 100% i hope i can hook my little brother on them
v8 rwd first car is absolutely good, just get winter tires for the winter and you good. 100% safe with trac ctrl on, and 100% fun with it off.
Didnt buy a mustang Bought an ISF instead 5.0 also, japanese coyote before the coyote came out lol
“Challenger🗑️, camaro🗑️, mustang🏎️” im dead😂😂😂
GET THE MGW tranny mounted shifter, fixed half my grinding and lockout you won't regret it.
I might have to
no, I don't make enough money to maintain any V8 😔
Buy a real 5.0 and get a lexus F. Mustang garbage 😂
What a joke. You're comparing a $100K Lexus to a Coyote Mustang that can be had for $15K. I'll tell you what, you can go get you a brand new Coyote Mustang with a dealer installed Whipple kit and a warranty all for just $60K and walk that Lexus all day long.

It's never gonna be too late these are everywhere they made many, many thousands of V8 Mustangs and they're cheap. They were made cheap, the parts are cheap, most people that own them are chicks and don't know how to work on them. Mustangs are everywhere. They are for girls. When guys try to drive them they send it into a wall or a crowd, Mustangs are on the lowest end of the muscle car genre get a better car.
bro said the f10 m5 is more reliable than the coyote hahaha
Interesting, when I rented a 2014 V6 Mustang back in April, it also kept going into limp mode and I also had to turn the car off and then back on to make it get out of limp mode
Ford engineering😔
This sounds like a POS. Should’ve ls swapped it
I like American muscle but Mercedes Benz CLS500 is calling my name lol, I’ll pick up a Sn95 5.0 some years later
Why a 5.0 and not a 4.6?
I've been planning on saving up the money and buying myself a metallic gray 2014 5.0 for my 25th birthday. Except my current car, a 2013 Hyundai elantra has been breaking down more and more recently to the point that I'll probably have to look at getting another boring sedan to get me through the winter months soon. If i lived in a place where it didn't snow, I'd be happy to drive a mustang year round, but up here, you pretty much need a second car. To drive in the snow both so that you don't spin out and wreck your fun car, but also to save your fun car from the road salt rust. Me buying another winter car to replace my current crummy one would legit set me back to zero, so more than likely, I'm just gonna have to get a 3.7 V6 and live with it until I'm like 45 and can afford an actual 5.0.
I feel you on the sentimental value. It’s like people who never did have the experience of driving their dream car, attempt to ruin it for others. It’s so… sad. They berate you for getting yours as well. Everyone makes dumb mistakes when they’re young. The most important thing is growth, and hopefully the joy you feel from it overshadows the negativity. My dream car was an Audi. Any Audi. I remember going to my cousins house when I was 15, and that was the first time I ever even noticed a car other than the fact they just drive (cut me some slack. I’m from NY, and all we do is take public transit). Had the Dynamic wavy headlights, when the driver pressed on the petal, it was outta there in a hurry. That car was a 2012 a6 with the v-6 option. It sounded so cool and in control, against, you know… Fast forward and all these years passed. I joined the military, and after doing a few years overseas, I got stationed back in the US in 2020. Needed a car, so I started looking at Mazda 6s, CX, Toyota Camry, even Honda Accords (the generation before that ugly face lift). On my search on Carvana, it recommended me an Audi. THE SAME YEAR, COLOR, AND DESIGN THAT I SAW ALMOST 8YEARS PRIOR! I told my dad, my mom, and everyone else, this is what I’m getting. I got the usual “you’ll regret it”, “it’s gonna burn a hole in your pocket”, yada yada. The same week I got back to the states, i took my mom on an adventure. We stopped in 2 towns, slept at my cousins house 4 hours from the house, and the next morning… drove another hour and bought a similar Audi at a dealership who had a cheaper price. I can remember the smell of burning oil (iykyk), the shine coming from those leather seats, and even… the AC not working. Of course, everything I listed was AFTER I bought it, so be it. I had the biggest smile that whole ride. Nothing could take that initial high away from me. Back in the states, bought my first car, and went on a memorable road trip with my biggest supporter my whole life! That was all within 72 hours. My friends from back home were stoked when I got back, everyone let me know how cool it looked, and amazing job getting the car that I wanted. As soon as my mom got out the car, and it was me, the car, and the road… I stepped on it. It was exhilarating to say the least. I loved it so much. The attention, the fun, and steering on that Quattro drive system 🥵. Anyways so, they were right. The repairs were so expensive, I had no one to fall back on to help with bills and within 9 months (4 of those in the shop 😢) I traded it in for of course a Camry. Loved the thing to death but that’s a story for another time. The message here is, just like you said. It’ll turn into scrap metal to be used for something we may never see. But those memories, and car guys you meet a long the way make it worth it. I’m happy that you could be positive for it. I hope you don’t have to trade it in so soon like I did my dream car, but be smart with what you do with your finances when you’re this young. It can make or BREAK the rest of your life. But take those smiles per gallon in stride and downshift that thang my guy!
Great video
Thanks bro!
Yikes. My 3v never had issues like this. I bought it stock with 98k miles 6 years ago. Only time it had issues was when I worked on the car and didn’t do it right 😅
Well generally the coyote is considered a pretty bulletproof engine but first gen of any car will have its issues. 3V have had a long time to become pretty reliable, good purchase bro
@ don’t sweat it man! I work in local 3v’s a lot and I’ve had a the occasional one with lots of issues too. Usually higher mileage cars that weren’t treated right. The gen 1 Coyote is a monster and is pretty reliable, whoever had your before you did most likely didn’t take care of it. But I think you still made the right choice
you be getted fucked on mechanic bills...
I want a 2010 GT. Yes, the 3 Valve S197. I love coyotes, don't get me wrong. I'd prefer an S550 like anyone else but, I know that 2010 will warm my heart with the Tremec 5 Speed. OUUUuuuu, stop playing! A spicey 300 from factory too?!
I hear you man
I'll stick to camaro
Exactly why, even though I coud have got a gen 2 or 3 coyote for cheaper, I got an S650 MT and am going broke on mods getting the car ready for boost. When I'm done it will be a comfortable boosted V8 MT street monster for the next 10 years or more.
I got a car very similar to a mustang GT and that’s the Lexus LC 500 so yea really close.
Man I feel the same way when I bought my 03 mach1. It had a burnt valve so its been in the shop for 3 weeks (hopefully I get it back this week) my dad taught me how to drive manual and it was such a fun experience learning and I'll never forget how proud he was of me when I drove it through the city and traffic without stalling or any major hiccups. Yeah I could have bought a newer stang or another sports car but I wanted something older, manual and a more raw driving experience (also because I got it for super cheap lol).
That’s what it’s all about brother
Maybe not buy a Mustang that was abused. I'm not sorry. Everything you are dealing with is 100% your own fault. I've owned 9 Mustangs now. Never had any issues. 8:21
Yeah as soon as he presented the car i was like, " why didn't you buy a clean one?"
*buys a v6 manual mustang instead* im likin the v6 a lot
I’ve owned 2, first was fully modded I loved it but had to let it go, second I’m paying rn but doesn’t give the same feel, looking to pay off and resell asap sadly I want more
Nice Video. It's very educational. Out of curiosity, how old were the speakers when you replaced them?
About 6 years old!
Why did you diss my challenger 🥺🥺🥺
My bad bro😔
Sounds like a real pos lol
“You only live once, and why rob yourself”
good video !
Drive a 2018 and it was such a POS. lmao
Great quality video! Was expecting more subs for the value here
Thank you, hopefully soon!
9:00 , i couldnt agree more. I got my manual 4.6 2010 for that exact reason. Its far from perfect and not the most comfortble car. But it has soul and i love driving it every second.
That’s what it’s all about man
Jeepers, that exhaust sound at the end! So good. I hear you on the "dream car" bit. I purchased my first proper hot hatch about a year ago; a 2018 Honda Civic TypeR. I dreamt about owning a WRX STi or something similar for so long, though after much research and shopping around, I settled on the TypeR as it just offered more than any of its peers in terms of reliability, practicality and driving pleasure (and it hasn't given me a lick of trouble since purchase). It's no V8, which I would love to have one day, thought it certainly ticks most of the boxes for now. It's just such a pleasure getting into this car every day and I don't think I'll ever sell it if I can help it. Will see what my next car will be once this guy's paid off in a few years. Perhaps a Mustang 5.0 Fastback Bullitt. Keep on truckin'. 😉
I feel you man, as long as you love it
Where in TX are you from?
H townnnnn🤘🤘
Hey brother have a 2017 mustang I would like to get this speakers nice video can you give us the links of the speakers thank you so much
MT82 also with second gear issues, basically a miata no?
Wait until they find out about the Cobra chilling in the garage next to the batmobile
Next video soon👀👀
what a gorgeous genuine carbon spoiler and genuine carbon steering wheel
that must have cost a lot
No need to expose
@@Scottyshifts what do you mean expose? your telling me they aren’t real?!?! 😦😮😱
I told my dad to teach me manual... I proceeded to drive the car home 8 hrs with 0 experience. Stalled on train tracks, stalled in a police station, stalled on 63rd, stalled in Sunny Side. I don't think he loves me but a memory I will for sure remember.
houston sunnyside? 😭
Dawg your dad HATES you
@@-beebo yep. Car decided it would be a funny joke to randomly get overheating issues right next to the HHC sign
@@kixsmart7122 bro that’s awful holy shit💀
Bro stalled on 63rd
wow man, i always loved this generation of mustang, hopefully one day i can get one to enjoy
Super sick video keep at it🔥
Still modern 😂
