More chain...
Such exotic fish! The sound track for the huge shark was perfect, very enjoyable video
I'm happy you enjoyed this video! It was a blast to dive this pass.
Incredible views! Above and under eater..😏
Love this kind of content ,,, thanks for sharing
Thank you!
You're welcome, mom.
I wish more people would know about this channel, so many wonderful views...! Sharing right now.
Please do! You're the best.
A Rainbow is forned by the exhaling of whales.. Fantastic!I would have never thought of it .
Amazingly beautiful nature... + the soothing music, and mostly, the sensitivity and perception of whomever recorded this video. 👏👏👏👏
Wow dude!! This is beautiful. Both the 🎞️ and the 🌊
Thank you! I enjoy making these types of videos and sharing these experiences.
I wouldn't eat it ! There's a reason it died. Rollin' the dice.
Apparently they die from a brain wasting protozoa (Miamiensis avidus).
Great Tour !! Thumbs Up Video !
Born in Torrance in 1954. I have yet to get to Catalina !! One day........
You don't need your own boat! Hop on the ferry boat and bring your camping gear to two harbors. You can make a great little weekend visit during the winter. I hope you make it out there!
Thanks for sharing. You guys were me many, many years ago. Been away from boats for about the past 30 years, but just recently purchased a sailboat that hopefully will take us back to similar adventures soon.
It's incredible how captivating sailboats are. I'm glad you're back on the water. Perhaps someday we'll cross paths.
Found your post on sailing anarchy forum so had to follow now that I own the snake eyes cf 37.
You own Hull 11? I was convinced only 10 were made.
@@SailingAmbrosia not sure which hull number. I read only 10 as well
The greed at Catalina Island regarding moorings is legendary. It has become a sour issue with many boaters
I wish their summer rates were more like their winter rates.
So fun watching you guys! And to see Jade in your video! We all love watching your updates!
Yay! Thank you! I Can you believe that is how we bumped into Jade?
Beautiful!! Awesome to see you both scuba diving!!
We had such a great time at Cabo Pulmo and Los Frailes. We've probably spent over a month there altogether.
my wife and I plan to move to San Felipe in the next couple of years (after we retire). We are both avid sailors, and I"m very grateful for the footage, and knowledge you are passing along about the Sea of Cortez, its weather, and anchorages, definitely will be watching for future videos, and more knowledge of the area we plan to retire to.
I hope you guys make your dreams come true. Maybe one day I'll be watching your videos?
Absolutely stunning as always!! Beautiful footage.
Thank you!
Q maravilha lindo, admirável,
As always... it was a pleasure to watch your adventures while sailing Ambrosia!

Beautiful 👌🏻
Thanks a lot 😊
Man I am so glad you bought a drone! What an adventure!
It has been one heck of an adventure!
Muito lindos seus passeios
Obrigado!
Q lindooooo
Muito obrigado :-)
Lots of thoughts watching this - the splice is so close to the chain, may be better to just re-splice the chain instead of creating another splice and potential failure point in the rode. Also, wonder whether that splice will pass through the windlass? Lastly, I think you will sleep better if you fabricate a snubber to avoid stressing the roller and eliminating the risk of what happened with the rode jumping off roller. All you need is about 10-15’ of spare rode, you can attach to chain or rode with a few different hitches. Thanks for posting, fair winds!
I believe the splices are the strongest points in the whole rode as long as they're not too short. Thankfully, our windlass has no issues with the thickness of the splices! I will take your advice on the snubber and make one as soon as I can get some extra line!
Brilliant video
Thank you! We appreciate the positive feedback!
Dude the whale visits look amazing. And great narration of all the fish behaviors. Cool to understand that ecosystem👌🏻
Thank you! It's pretty different from SoCal, right?
Beaituful!!!
Muito thank you!
Que aventura fabulosa!!!
A vó Ambrósia tá comentando em vídeos no youtube agora? rsrsrsrs
Sempre lindos seus videos, amo!!!❤

Thank you so much for sharing the beautiful views and amazing corals and fish!
I'm glad you enjoyed it. I'm always astounded with the beauty of the pacific if you just stop and look for a while.
So happy to see you made the dream happen! Love you brother :))) juba
Thank you so much! It's been a dream come true! It's been a while since we've chatted. I'm curious how you're doing.
Grande saludo un gran abrazo y suerte en esas aventuras en el

Hola hola se ven deliciosos esos pescados que estás soy Arturo nos conocimos en casa de cherry en Bahía
Awesome footage of those whales....Wow...
Thank you! Our next video (Ep19) also has a great aerial of a mother and calf that come right up to us at anchor!
It was nice meeting you both while at anchor last week. Two of us are home and attending the mooring rate hike meeting tonight while the owner/boat continues south. Excellent splice to repair your anchor rode. While I've found snubbers common for all chain systems, I've found a snubber for chain/rope combinations also helps manage chafe, noise, safety and load distribution. Here's a link I located that provides a good explanation (jump to the 7:00-minute mark). I look forward to following the sailing adventures of Ambrosia. Cheers and safe travels!
It looks like the link didn't take. Oh well. If interested and you are OK with my unsolicited suggestion, it is on TH-cam at Carpe Diem Sailing Ep 43: Pro Tips: Anchor Snubber on Combine Anchor Rode. (go to 7:00 min mark)
@@JPonTH-camThank you for the pro-tip! It was nice meeting you as well. Thank you for being back home and representing our cause while we're out in the sunshine. We sent our opinions and written statements to the Harbor Comission, City Council and our Representative in Congress. It seems like the turnout was good but you never know. Anyways, good luck to us!
Nice meeting you guys this afternoon! If you guys want a homecooked meal, you're welcome to join us for lunch while you're here (or if you just want a hot shower or to use our washer/dryer). HIt us up!
That is so nice. Thank you! We would definitely like to hang out again and maybe hit you up for some land amenities ;-). We found your blog btw! You can direct message us on Instagram. Same handle as TH-cam. Thanks for reaching out!
Amaziiing! That sushi looked very tasty haha
Oh my gosh, it was soooo good! I actually ate a piece right off the backbone as I was slicing the tuna open. It had a little bit of salt from my fingers and it was just perfect.
Wonderful video! Loved seeing the fishies.
Thank you! We have eaten that tuna about 3 times a week and shared it with friends along the way. We're still only halfway through it!
" smegma" is not the correct terminology for fish epidermal mucus. But...you get what I was referring to.
Nice video! Thanks for referring me to this video on Facebook. Really cool that you can break down and reassemble the mini for storage. Definitely going to look into this when we get our boat.
I'm glad you enjoyed it! It can be a little difficult to find a box that is big enough to fit the Ender 3 but small enough to stow away. Good luck with yours!
So fun to be following you on your adventure! Loving the videos!
Glad you enjoy it!
Loved seeing the 3D-printing, Michael! I like these short-format videos a lot as well.
I'll be 3D printing more in the future. I have an issue with my anchor roller that I think I can fix with PETG. Also, I might make some pulleys in the future ^_^
