Spartan Blades & Spartan Harsey Folder Review
This is my honest opinion and experience with Spartan Blades. This is an outstanding company that us knife people need to promote and talk about. They have a great American story. I started as a concerned/frustrated consumer, and became a lifelong customer thanks to Kim at Spartan Blades. If you are on the fence about getting a knife from Spartan Blades, just do it. If something is wrong which is not likely, they will back their product and take care of you. I had alot to say and still missed things like the internal over travel stop in the handle, spearpoint blade and more. Curtis Iovito, Mark Carey and Bill Harsey have created something really special here. Thanks for watching! I have another Spartan Blades knife arriving anyday. The fixed blade Phrike! That review will also he coming soon!

Ka-Bar Wrench Knife Overview
มุมมอง 13K4 ปีที่แล้ว
This is a knife I picked up recently from GP Knives in Troy, IL. It is forged in the USA and a cool little knife. While it could use a better grip, it would make a great gift for a mechanic or fathers day gift. For $36.95 you cant complain much, or compare compare it with high end knives. Hope you enjoy this quick overview. Thanks for watching and subscribe if you want to see more videos like t...
Part II: Thomas Hacker Mountain Knife Review (read description)
มุมมอง 2594 ปีที่แล้ว
This is the second part of my review. This knife was made by Thomas Hacker of Festus, Missouri (USA). The steel is 80CRV2, hand forged by Thomas. The handle is a burlap micarta with black G10 pins that disappear, looks great! It has an 8" blade and 4" handle. It performed everything well with zero chipping or edge rolling. It excels at chopping and batoning to split and cut wood. It does seem v...
Quarantine Cheap Knife Talk
มุมมอง 5924 ปีที่แล้ว
These are just some of my thoughts about owning a cheap knife and what variables I look for when choosing to carry or buy a cheaper knife. We are just sticking below $50, and I do understand cheap is all relative to the individual. This is just a quarantine knife chat, just sharing some thoughts. Thanks for watching.

My Cold Steel Recon 1 Review
มุมมอง 40K4 ปีที่แล้ว

Im sure I will be buying more Cold Steel products in the future, its a good value for the money. Thanks for watching and subscribe for more of my opinions and reviews. Instagram: Ozark_Pursuit
Benchmade Triage Knife Test (multitool)
มุมมอง 2.4K4 ปีที่แล้ว
This is my simple testing of the Benchmade 915/916 Triage. I accidently called it the tactical triage, because I also had one of those in my pocket. These knives are true multitools and I cant reccomend them enough, especially to first responders! This knife is available in different colors, blade shapes, blade material, edge options Vand handle finish. This is my second use review and im still...
Ontario Rat1 *THE BEST BUDGET POCKET KNIFE!*
มุมมอง 8K4 ปีที่แล้ว
This is my take on the Ontario Rat Model 1. I absolutely love this knife and would reccomend it to anyone for a wide array of settings. For $40 you really can't go wrong. They also make a smaller version called the Rat2. This was a collaboration between Jeff Randall and Ontario. Jeff owns Randall's Adventure and Training, a survival shool of sorts. This is how the name RAT came about! He now is...
Pro-Tech TR-3 L-1 Review
มุมมอง 3.8K4 ปีที่แล้ว
I picked up this knife a while ago and GP Knives and have been meaning to do a review. This knife is very popular with police, military and other first responders. I like the knife alot, but its definitely not my favorite. Like all knives it has its pros and cons. Thanks for watching and subscribe if you want to see more videos like this one. Benchmade 917 Tactical Triage Review
มุมมอง 10K4 ปีที่แล้ว

Chris Reeve Small Sebenza 21
มุมมอง 2.4K4 ปีที่แล้ว
This is a Small Sebenza 21 that I received in a trade recently. It is a superb knife as expected from CRK. I would highly reccomend it if you like small pocket knives. I will likely use this knife to put towards a large left handed Sebenza or a unique Inkosi. We will see, you never know where the knife world will take you. Stay safe out there and stay home to avoid COVID19. Please subscribe if ...

Protech Strider SnG Operator
มุมมอง 2.7K4 ปีที่แล้ว
This is the Protech Strider SnG Operator. Another model in their popular collaboration. I was lucky enough to get 1 of 10 that GP Knives had. This model has a sterile finish with zero markings, giving it a true stealthy look. It does have a tritium insert in the push button for low light indexing. The blade and pocket clip have a black DLC coating and the handle is a black class III hard anodiz...
Spyderco PM2 LEFT HANDED (More Stronger!)
มุมมอง 3.9K4 ปีที่แล้ว
This is my opinion on the Spyderco Paramilitary 2, left handed edition. I said the compression lock is "MORE STRONGER" than a liner lock and Im sticking to it. Haha I just didnt feel like refilming it. Thanks for watching, please subscribe. Instagram: Ozark_Pursuit GP Knives in Troy, IL.
Spyderco Manix2 blurple
มุมมอง 7604 ปีที่แล้ว
This is a nice solid knife created by Eric Glesser, the son of Spyderco's owner. It features the upgraded steel CPM S110V and "blurple" G10 scales. It has the ambi caged ball bearing lock which is fun to use. I cut up some boxes and smaller stuff with no problems. I appreciate you watching and this video and hope you SUBSCRIBE to stay tuned for more videos! Instagram: Ozark_Pursuit

Benchmade Mini Loco 818GY-1901 Limited Edition
Great video. Such nonsense it’s illegal in my country. It’s just that the lawmakers don’t have real knife knowledge. Because I can carry a knife that’s 25cm but a small Microtech is illegal because of the otf system 😂. If I spydieflick my para 2 it’s faster and a lot larger but that’s legal. Neither the way I ordered one for my collection. 😂👍🏼
It's the classic folding knife, but I have better knives for killing bears. I wouldn't recommend it either way though.
Not a switchblade. I switchblade folds but has a spring assisted release
Excellent review.
i like that the lever is hard to depress to allow it to fold. that gives me peace of mind that as long as the knife is being held in a normal proper way it's virtually impossible for it to accidentally fold. granted i was misusing it at the time but i had a liner lock knife fold on my pinky as a teenager. i needed stitches and i still have a scar from it. i don't want that to ever happen again.
I don‘t need a Buck , for killing a Kodiak …. stupid !
There great knives, I still carry mine.
What was the Kodiaks Name ?
5 years later and I’ve had mine for 3 months. It’s become one of my favorites. Your video like the knife is still relevant. Thanks!
I can not use the pocket clip with carharts on??
I took my tanto apart. It wasn't difficult to disassemble and reassemble. You can tell from the shape of the backspacer on the inside it was made with the tanto in mind.
Bought the tanto version last month and I love it so much that I decided to get a spear point version. It's supposed to be arriving today (11/09/2024). 🙂
Bruh did you really say flint stone ???
You're right about the advertising of CS, they show what their knives are capable to do. And a lot of TH-camrs proofed the high performance on camera. I myself have beaten my RECON 1 like a fixed blade, it´s fine. No issues. All I try to say is, if you have to abuse your knife in a pinch, you can be confident 🙂
I've bought 3. I lost one that had a drop point with no serrations. $65.00 - purchased in Bethel, Alaska. Another I still have is a tanto blade with serrations - again, $65.00 purchased in Bethel, Alaska in the early '90's. However, the most interesting one I still have is one designed to be used as an EMS tool - it is slightly heavier, has a blunt, unsharpened tip and much less aggressive serrations. It is designed to cut though and remove clothing at the scene of an emergency. It also has a glass breaker and has a maroon color. I purchased this knife in Dutch Harbor, Alaska in 1994. # printed on the blade is 1675RDST.
I've had four of them good but the clip sucks they bend out and I paid a lot more than 50 at Wally world
Camillus is credited with making 12 million knives of this design. Those made earlier than 1957 were made by other companies. Once they switched to stainless steel from brass back springs is when the breakage problem started. The steel is a bit more brittle than the brass, so when you open 2 tools on the same spring, you stand a chance of breaking that spring! It was not a sign of a bad design but of stupid users! Mine is dated 1986, and I like it a lot! There were these knives issued to all branches of the services USMC, USN. Army and air force just marked US. After Camillus contract ended with the military, many were repurposed for the BSA with different scales and emblem but same 4 tool design. This is the US equivalent of the SAK.
I had one of the original Recon 1 folders with the axis lock and AUS-8 blade! Mine was used so much that all the paint was worn off, but the knife itself did hold up to everything!🤣
Cool video; thumbs up. I have always liked the 112 better. For some reason, they are hard to find in the store. Does anyone know why?
Hi from italy, I have a question: Is the handle comfortable without gloves?thanks.
You’re not a slouch you just didn’t know they are “pull the dot” snaps. They only release one way
They do that for blade play but I remove them and didn't notice a difference.
Great video excellent knives, the history of Buck Knives is interesting. The 110 costs $70 delivered in 2024, Still a fair price for a high quality knife.
knifecenter has these for 170$ 120$ off I couldn't hit the add button fast enough.
Buck used 425m steel from the early 80s til about 92. Before that it was 440c. I love buck knives, American made ones of course. 110 is my favorite.
Does the back spacer rust?
Looks like a rambo knife
5 years later and it’s $250
These "old" Spyderco reviews are always so surreal. 42 dollars for a Tenacious only five years ago, they're 85+ euros over here for the LW nowadays.
That's true, how do You know if You don't like something if You've never tried it? At the beginning I hated the look of Spyderco knives. But I've given them a chance and I was sold by their quality. And You don't like holes, huh? Boy...if or when You will find Yourself a wife, You'll be surprised!
the original multi tool
On benchmade OTF knives, there is a screw that holds the blade to a small carrier that keeps it on track, and said screw tends to walk itself out after a while. I had to disassemble mine and threadlock that screw in, and the small vibration and blade play problems were fixed permanently. That may be why your benchmades have a slight noise when tapped
note to self: nex time clean the dried snot off the scales before I film the review video
1950's Hollywood helped ban switchblades.. And silencers are completely silent because of movies, ✅️
My friend great vid I jusr subscribed That's exactly why I would never rely on a OTF for self defense They fail too much
1' of my primary better hand tools , and investments , she's been riding on my left thigh gone on 26'years with no regrets
I suspect that the nylon washer is against the blade so there is less of a chance of electrolytes. **🤬Hate spell checking. The word should be "electrolysis" and not "electrolytes".🤬**
Why do some have silver screws on the sheath and some have black mine are blk
Here we are 3 years later, do you still have it? Do you still like these 2 & still love Spartan customer service ? or did you move it along ? Tell us more would love to see a follow up.
My Endura is so old that it has an FRN pocket clip cast into the grip. Still looks new. My Delica has been sharpened over the years so much that it's semi-retired, but still shaved hair. I bought the Tenacious as an EDC knife a few years ago, and it has held up surprisingly well. In my wallet, I keep a Spydercard plain edge for those times when I don't want to have a knife in my pocket. I wish Spyderco would bring it back. These have all seved me well for many years. I can recommend Spyderco, based on utility, but none of them will win a beauty contest.
Awesome knife man! I’m from Texas and I have been trying to buy a silver stag beef skinner knife but have been having no luck finding that exact knife, even tried looking on the silver stag website.
most cold steel knives are unbeatable for the money...i love em !
They labeled it can opener because there were different can opener designs. This is called a hawkbill, and was relatively new at the time.
Want to sell that fixie? ;)
I have absolutely no use for a $400 dollar knife. Nor for a knife made of cheap chrome vamadium metal.
It won't go through, but it will go in about an inch...
you are funny how you advertising a cords god bless you. :-)
2024 and this still illegal worldwide. Humans… dumb as f…
I remember a family day on the J.F.K.my ex-wife was on the carrier and we had an air show on the ship it' was cool to be on that ship
Finally someone broke down breaking in the knife. I did this on mine too and am still amazed every zt knife I have is still my favorite knife every time. Haha
