Awe, yeah, I think we all get discouraged a bit on "pretty planning" and sometimes don't realize that some creators do it for a living. My planning is messy, too. hahahaha. I scribble a lot when I am in a rush to write what I need to remember then have a hard time reading it later. 😆Anyway, it's not just planning but some creators have affiliate links for books, electronics, handbags, etc in their YT channel to create income. We just don't know everyone enough to make judgements on people, in general, is the point to my VID. Thanks for sharing your experiences, I thought I was the only one who thought about my planning as mediocre. 😆TFW. 🥰

I’m glad you enjoy my Channel. I think you mentioned that before regarding the lighting. It was an extremely bright day. I tested the lowest Aperture setting on my DSLR camera & it was so dark, so I had it on the 2nd lowest, which in turn I had to fix the Focus of the lens so if I moved too far or too close, it wouldn’t be blurry. 😆 “Manual” settings are always tricky on a DSLR which is why I don’t always film on it, sometimes I use my iPhone. I’m sorry if you are having a hard time seeing on my channel; I hope to get better so I appreciate your feedback. Have a great rest of your weekend. 🥰

I always wondered about carrying a Narrow around, how did you like it? Did it seem heavy in your handbag? Congrats on your Personal size Chic Sparrow, which leather & color did you get? I'm super excited for you to set it up & let me know how you like it afterwards. Personal was my very first size, it's still a FAV to this day; lots of room but small enough for my handbags. For me, duplicating info is time consuming & I am a very "efficient-driven" person....I think that comes from my very strict upbringing as a child to adolescence & it carried over to my adulthood. Although, when I met Jesus, He told me perfection isn't the key to life so He is still working on me to be less stressed about it and make some changes. 😆 But!!!! Sorry, I got sidetracked....how it works for me is, I think people call it "Bullet-style"??? It's not the same b'coz I have been doing it for yrs since I was a child. Making a list, crossing out the ones I have done, the unfinished gets moved....I don't have a key-system like other 'Bullet Journal' enthusiasts....mine is very simple. I may do a VID about that to explain more thoroughly. Words aren't doing me justice right now. 😆 For example, 2 days ago, I switched from my Pocket EDC to my Nano EDC and the items I already finished in my Pocket EDC didn't get transferred to my Nano EDC, only the unfinished items and newer things I needed to add. I did a JUN calendar b'cz I only had MAY the last time I was in my Nano EDC. Since it was the 3rd week, I didn't put things in the past (like Bday parties and Meetings), there is no point, for me, to do that.....it's already done. It sounds like you have beautiful Pocket TNs that need to get used; the Maverick is one I would like to try one day, maybe, not sure yet but I absolutely LOVE Creme!!! For me I guess since my memory is not great I want to have the information with me when I need it so when I’m asked when something happened , the information is always with me. But I have noticed that people depend on that and will ask me and expect me to know when something took place or is coming up. I’m also a secretary at work so I feel it’s expected of me everywhere and it could be overwhelming . Maybe it’s time to allow others to rely on their own means of recalling or documenting information at least in my personal life.Also, I love what you shared about when u met Jesus.

@@anicame2 😆 I know exactly what you mean by everyone relying on you for information/record keeping. The way I combat that regarding "when" something happened is I make sure my 'Monthly Calendar' has the most important events listed(Bdays/Graduations/Dr. Appt/Personal Meetings)....I refrain from putting too much on my Monthly to prevent chaos & less distraction to find what I need, when I need it. Usually my 'Weekly' has things that I need to get done(task: order bday gifts/shipping times/calling the Dr. office/Budget/Clean out Personal emails, and the detail time-location of bday party or what time to be at a restaurant, etc.). Things that happen Quarterly/Monthly/Semi-Annual or Annually like Dr. Appts, Med-Refills, Car Maintenance, Home Maintenance(AC/Plumbing/Electrical) are all in my "Home TN"...I update it regularly so if someone needs to know when it happened last, it's all in there. Good news is Jesus doesn't expect us to remember everything, it's ok if we don't, we pray for His guidance and ask for His help to stay on task & on track. I should definitely do a VID about this 'coz I feel like my answer is very L-O-N-G and all over the place. 😆

Well, if you carrying a lot regularly, I would suggest the bigger handbag. If you don't like "BIG" bags, you won't like the Belvedere....it is big. 😆 I love big handbags b'coz I carry my kitchen sink and then some all the time. Hope that helps. TFW. 🥰

I agree that the softer leathers, for me anyway, have the flaking of the back-hide that I don't particularly care for but since Chic Sparrow's style has always been very "raw and natural" is what fans love about their products. There aren't many human alterations done to their products. Yes, they are expensive but most USA brands made in the USA with employees here at home have to make a living wage, and inflation is no joke. I'm actually surprised she didn't really increase her price for the Rustic Tote, I believe YT Creators from 8 yrs ago quoted the same price it was as of last week. Many luxury brands & contemporary, even Fossil, has increased their Rachel Satchel to $289, 6 yrs ago it was $178. Dooney & Bourke Florentine Large Satchel went from $400 to $600. I get it though, we all have preference & different taste and I appreciate you sharing your thoughts b'coz I know CS isn't for everyone. There's a lot of makers I don't care for either and most of them are VERY POPULAR....but I'm strange. 😆 TFW. 🥰

Totally agree on the made in U.S and small businesses! I think I'm weird 🤣 too, but I guess as I've been purging all the "things" that I have and keeping less items, means keeping the 'quality' items. Less replenishment of stuff. Lord knows I need less rabbit hole things 🤣. That goes for all the companies I purchase from. My colleague absolutely loves those bags. I don't know enough about their mission & how much percentage actually goes to corporate overhead vs. charitable endeavors....mixing those two always concern me in any business setting. YES!!!! I have colleagues in the office who have a ton of bags they don't wear & always want to see what bag I'm carrying that day to admire them. I said, "Y'all need to start carrying them bags! They're lonely." hahahaha. I don't have a large collection, at least by many standards in the handbag community, but I can barely wear each of them regularly. I've been doing the same thing you decided.....not buying anymore until I start wearing the ones I have. I think the last 12 months, I've been using ones I barely carry prior yrs. I believe they stopped carrying the No.8 about a couple weeks after this VID posted. It has been available for 2 yrs. I was kinda sad b'coz I also wanted it in the 'Dashwood' leather which was a pretty dark pale teal. Maybe someone will have it second hand. CS still has the Wide, which can fit Moleskine Cahier, never tried my Moleskine Expanded in it. Hmmm, I'll have to check that out. TFW. 🥰

I have been seriously thinking about trying CS passport size but ever since I got my Passport from Traveler's Company & not liking how slim it is.....I am wondering if CS is better since they are generous with the capacity. @@JediUp777 I don't have any TN Covers in Passport Size, only CS Wide. I like the CS Wide because it can accommodate 3 or more inserts plus accessories without the edges of the inserts poking out of the cover. I was thinking I would someday use the Passport sized inserts with a cover as a wallet, so I wanted to get covers that would hold more. I did the same with the Standard Size TN covers--only purchased CS covers that I could get in the wider size! I prefer the leather quality and thickness of CS, and the additional pockets (I always buy the Cascade style.)

It's my 'Home TN' which has all my Dr stuff, Car Repair & Home projects, etc., so I love having all the room in it to write as much as I want. I prefer the Wide vs. the Standard Size TN but I do love my Standard, too. lol.....I think I love all the sizes except the Passport by Traveler's Company; it's just so thin!!!! I do agree that CS leather quality, space & pockets is wonderful & why I keep coming back to them for my TNs. 💕

I totally agree about remembering there is still "more".....just as you found all the other things that interest you even though it's a slower pace, there is still "beach, gardening, reading, etc"....we sometimes forget while trying to make sense of a new transition in life.
