Of course it would have to be a honest conversation b'coz in our social media world, we are so afraid to be ourselves. I've noticed now, a ton of luxury handbag TH-camrs just deciding to get rid of all their stuff to be 'minimal' but are they doing it b'coz they want to or is it for recognition? @@JediUp777 yep 👍 that was a great example of my point. Ppl being phony and over compensating. When I started buying bags it’s was absolutely an addiction because I was compensating for things I was missing in my life. Like that kind of honesty. And let’s talk about the acceptable reasons to purchase and recognizing when there’s a bigger problem and we shouldn’t be getting bags. Maybe a little more Energy should be redirected to fixing those other problems. No longer should we be like “ladies just do what works for you.” “Buy what you want.” Some of us got problems and it’s right in front of our faces. I bought 20 bags in one year. And all I really wanted was for my BF to become my Husband 😳😊. Now I still buy bags but only 2-3 a year. 🥰
@@honeyisnatural5 I totally agree with 'addiction'.....been there, done that, don't ever wanna go back to that life. lol. And hopefully I will share that adventure in a VID one day. hahahahaha. I think enjoying what we have is definitely important....the problem starts when we lose interest in the things we get, yet keep accumulating, never using them, and the vicious cycle continues. I'm not one to tell anyone what to do but I have said numerous times on my channel that I don't support over consumption or any type of excessive shopping, everyone else can do what they want with their lives, hahahaha, but I'm not gonna be a part of it. Because Finance/Budgeting is important to me, it's a contradiction if I ever promote that lifestyle. I'm not a fanatical saver that overlooks quality for cheaper products either, buying selective pieces that will last a long time is more my vibe. I appreciate you sharing your journey, it's hard to discuss shopping addictions b'coz it's almost accepted worldwide....in all societies, some think the more you have, the better off you are. 🥰
