Atlanta Snowstorm Parody
LOL Here in the south we are expecting some snow this weekend and as most everyone knows Snow And The South does not mix well. I've lived near Atlanta for 26 years so I know our "snow panic" well ; And just so you know I have my bread and milk on hand ...
Obviously don't take any of the advice in this video seriously ! Hope this gives you a laugh .

Just wanted to show everybody the very first rifle I ever had , I got this rifle at 9 years old on Christmas of 1999 from my grandparents . My grandmother past away in November 2014 at 78 years old and we were about as close as two people could be , and when they gave this rifle to me she was almost more excited than I was . Giving my thoughts on the Taurus 357 mag revolver.. Just got it brand new and put about 75 rounds through it today and it shoots great and feels great. pros- price, grip , seven shot capacity , unlimited lifetime repair.. cons- a little heavy , hard to find fitted holster , heavy double action trigger pull.....

    I have the Maverick 88 shotgun 12 gauge, I have to say that I am very happy with it, I love that shotgun, it is very reliable, flawless and it performs excellent. I've been using my Maverick 88 shotgun for a year, every weekend; I live in Alaska, Bear territory, big game country, and I highly recommend the Mossberg Maverick 88 12 gauge shotgun. Greetings from Anchorage Alaska USA to the whole world.

    Of course its easy.... try buckshot and slugs. They feel a whole lot differently on the shoulder. I own a Remington sp-10, a Browning gold 10 gauge, and a Ithaca mag 10. They are all semi auto 10 gauges. I also own a H&R 10 gauge single shot with an 18 inch barrel. The H&R kicks like a mule!!!

    I shot over a hundred 12 gauge today. I only weigh 120 lbs and I'm 70. After trying a few stances in 'rapid' fire with my 590 pump, I found your stance is the best. I put my left knee way out, lean forward, pull the shotgun in firm, and just go with the recoil. Relaxing helps and staying focused on your sight picture and trigger control, helps take your mind off the kick. I try not to waste time during the recoil and be sure to pump the gun during recoil.

    Love your Winchester 30-30 IMO your 1999 Winchester 30/30 is as good as any Winchester 30/30 out there ever made! IMO do not listen to the pre 64 or post 64 talk, it's BS! The 1999 Winchester 30-30 you have probably shoots way better than any pre 1964 30-30. Old gun owners like to hype up their old collection.

If I place it snug against the cheek first and try lifting my elbow to raise my shoulder up it still doesn't work. What am I doing wrong?

    Love my 870 tactical express Magpul edition. Cerakoated finish, no rust issues. XS ghost sights, I replaced the stock front bead with a tritium bead. Esstac six shot velcro side saddle, aluminium follower, Wilson combat safety and extended mag spring, Remington tactical choke, picatinny rail. Non-mim extractor. Magpul stock and forend. One piece, six shot magazine tube. 18 1/2 inch barrel. QD mount on stock and on replaced mag cap. Streamlight tlr-1 mounted on forend with Magpul cantilever mount. Strictly a home defense gun, loaded with #4 buck. Purchased in 2014. Runs like a champ.

    I was a high school trap shooting coach for 6 years and a shotgun merit badge counselor for 10 years. I still don’t consider myself an expert but I have around the 870 and the 500 quite a bit since they are the most popular ones I’ve seen due to price point. I’ve witnessed more failure to fire from the Mossberg 500, and 590 than the 870 due to light primer strike and zero from any 870. I ended up buying a $200 870 for my son and it never had a failure to fire no matter how many rounds fired or how poorly it was cleaned. I had to inspect ever one that failed on the range for safety of children and I don’t recommend Mossberg for that particular use. I’ve owned both and only still have the 870.

    Thanks for this video, I recently bought my first shotgun and was looking on TH-cam for a video on how to control recoil. I took her to the range for the first time to dial her in(Tactical 12 gauge)last week and realized I needed help. The "kick" didn't bother me at all, but I would get a significant muzzle rise after every shot, hoping to get back to the range soon to try out the techniques that you showed.

    @azemdobrodoli31 ปีที่แล้ว

    Your tutorial is perty good. One thing though, you might want to consider showing your feet position as that is important. Also, I’m perty sure when firing a shotgun there is a push/pull method where you push forward with your non firing hand and pull slightly with your firing hand. It really helps to keep you on target. Just food for thought.

  • @vicbanks9079
    @vicbanks9079 ปีที่แล้ว

    You're absolutely right there's virtually nothing on TH-cam about recoil. Useful info cause when I was in college we shot clays without thinking about recoil...but I'm much older and haven't touched a 12 gauge in so long I've built up a fear factor. Better get out toa range huh?! What about shooting a shotgun from the waist? Have any thoughts on close quarter handling techniques? Thanks!

    "There is no more versatile weapon than a shotgun, you can load a shotgun to take anything on the planet". Field shot, .0 .00 .000 buckshot, slug, and sabot rounds. Non-lethal include, rack salt (old school), bean bags, tazer shock rounds, high density rubber shot and chemical OC rounds. Yep pretty much whatever your flavor is, this puppy will spit it out. So, explain to again why ppl "need" military style battle weapons like the AK or the AR? If you want to promote something promote deregulating these standard types of weapons and increase regs for military battle weapons.

    For a tactical shotgun, the Mossberg 590 or 500 8 shot is better. For hunting/sporting shotgun the Remington 870 (Preferably Wingmaster) is better. That's considering ergonomics, weight, recoil, etc. If you do buy a Maverick 88 or Mossberg 500 5 shot you'll have to get another forearm slide to upgrade stocks. Unfortunately, the Maverick 88, Mossberg 500 don't come standard with drilled and tapped receivers. Yes, putting an ACSS sight or Burris Fastfire makes a lot of sense. Instead of being limited to 50 yards (or less) with rifled slugs, you can double your range to 100 yards with the right sight on a tactical shotgun. A lot of people play up the Maverick 88, if you're just in need of an as is home defense shotgun you don't plan on doing anything with it's ok, especially in the 8 shot version. But the minute you want to upgrade it you're stuck buying Mossberg 500 parts where it ends up costing the same as a Mossberg 500. Why bother? The Mossberg 590 Magpul SGA with ghost ring sights or drilled and tapped receiver is the best stock tactical shotgun out there. If you want an economy sporting shotgun the Stevens 320 is hard to beat, but they don't make rifled barrel versions and their tactical shotguns are limited and the entire line has very limited aftermarket support.
