I have the same kind of garage door opener and it will shut but it immediately comes back open and the light starts flashing

Is the 9500 the same as a 4500 to reprogram

I have the model 9500 and every time I shut it it goes down stops and it comes right back up and then the light starts flashing the garage door won't stay shut

The buttons are broken on my garage unit, the ‘p’ and +&- don’t have any resistance or mechanical function left in them they are just kind of free floating and don’t click or anything. This must be the reason my remotes not working

Watched this video and immediately called the doctor to get me hearing checked. Came back home with a clean bill of health.

The printer was a bit complicated to hook up th-cam.com/users/postUgkxciSwynMJ7PnUvvx11rewiu-yFBkZTl53 but it does the job very efficiently. I like the ink wells versus the ink cartages that cost an arm and a leg. It prints quickly and the quality is excellent. It shuts off when not in use, so you have to remember to turn it on. Overall, it exceeds my expectations. I'll update my review in a couple of months.

For the second remote, once you have once programmed, you need to use the 3-pin connector that came with the unit and share the code. That's how you program multiple remotes without removing the codes from the others. It's dumb, but it works. You should not have to ever go back to reprogram this method unless you have a surge or something that cuases the unit to reset.

I just moved in to a new home and have only one remote (and no connector tool). Is there a way you know of to reprogram it so that if there are other remotes out there, they can't be used on my door? If I program the remote I have as shown on this video, does it get a new code each time - overwriting the old code? Thank you!

Basically Marantec/Martin openers are a piece of garbage product! Do yourself a favor and buy a LiftMaster or Chamberlain opener.
