The only thing I could find was an interview with Tetsuya Nomura where he stated that KH 1 would´ve ended with Maleficent and that they later importet Ansem into the story (KH1 Ultimania: Szenario-Interview). I also found a clue about how to get the secret ending in KH 1 in my strategy guide book from KH1 (don´t now about KH2 and BbS, gotta check this out too)

Actually typed this all out and kh3 spoilers in the comment for anyone just a warning before people read Tangled - It's a nice callback to chain of memories putting Marluxia in a similar role to what he had in com with Namine, but with Rapunzel, and it's where Sora learns if the guardians won't fight they'll just use the princesses of heart to attain what Xehanort is after. Olympus - Xigbar finds out that Maleficent and Pete are looking for a black box, ora also learns from Hercules that finding his own strength will require him having something or someone to fight for with all his heart. Sora repeats this mantra four more times throughout the course of his journey. Toybox - Vexen not being on board yet & in order to reclaim the Organization’s last seeker of darkness, Young Xehanort is sent to conduct an experiment in Toy Box regarding the connection of hearts. Using Buzz & Woody, Young Xehanort was able to stretch the limits of the toy’s friendship and trust in order to turn the toys into pawns of the darkness. Through his observations, Young Xehanort learns that a strong heart filed with a vast amount of darkness can be placed within any sort of vessel the Organization desires, including an empty puppet, held together by just mere cloth & plastic. The results of these experiments with the various vessels found in Galaxy Toys contribute to the direct revival of Xion. Monstropolis - Because of the intense negative energy put out by this world, it's really the only way that Vanitas gets pulled out of Sora's heart. Ardendelle - Larxene is searching for "new" princess's of light and finds Elsa and Anna, because it’s too early to call whether Elsa will accept light or darkness & because of Elsa not fully accepting what the nature of her power will be, Larxene observes the Queen of Arendelle from the shadows and prevents Sora from making a decision for Elsa so that she can figure out how to set her heart free her own way. and this is where Larxene informs the player that they have all 13 Darkness's already. Pirates - Luxord plays a fairly similar role here to where he did in KH2, but they are also looking for the black box, Vexen finds out about Davy Jones a creature that can survive without a heart, something his replica's can't even do. Big Hero 6 - After the success of the replica program, The final pieces of the heart missing are elements of sadness & loss. To complete this task, Riku summons a dark portal, connects the Darkubes’s data to an empty vessel, and places the combat chip inside of Baymax 1.0 to attack Hiro, be destroyed by Sora & finish the data heart reconstruction experiment, which results in the revival of Xion. 100 Acre Woods is really the only Disney world in 3 that can actually be considering Filler if you look at it further then face value, and it truly handles its disney side the best out of the numbered titles it actually integrates the overall story of the last act of the game rather well in its story that people just gloss over, because they hear stuff from certain content creators that have been repeated ad nosuem by the general public rather then forming opinions for themselves. this isn't me crapping on anyone either, just a general comment, as KH3 has really become the punching bag of the series and I can't understand why.

Another cool thing about the KH1 hook fight. If you fight him with ground combos, he tends to counter and attack more often and aggressively. If you fly low to the ground and attack, the finishing air combo will always knock him back and leave him staggered for a bit. Its a reference to how Hook can never beat Peter pan in the movies because he's always flying

Heavily disagree about kh3's disney worlds not being handled the best, I actually think kh3 ties the disney worlds better into the series then either of the other 2 numbered titles, really wish i could send slides here lmao

Technically it's not just a new coat of paint since it also changes the length in some cases (like how Oblivion and Ultima Weapons are long Keyblades, which are amazing to air combo with). But yeah it's pretty cool that canonically keychains are seperate from keyblades. Just need to fully know how keychains are created and then we can make our own

Just remember before you waste your time watching 358/2 days for Bond of Flame card for Vexen. It does less damage to him due to a bug that made Vexen, the ICE boss, resistant to fire.
