Thanks for the guide, actually managed to get through his first vanish phase but still losing to pretty much RNG (him spamming mega flare and meteor until i ran out of cure or after i got hit with aero, and even worse a combination between orb and doom string that forced me to take the hits) Counting the attempts, currently at 255th attempt xd
For the raging storm ability, I found that as he’s winding up and charging at you, if you use thunder surge it DOES stagger him, and if you can get the timing down he ends up stopping to block and does a different move. Did this on Terra but I think it works the same for other characters as well!

the attacks actually have official names like Sonic Blade is actually Dark Spiral, then the teleport attack is actually called Dark Splicer. Dark Cannon is actually Dark Link

Great guide. This was definitely informative. I want to say you *can* block MF's Doom strings...at least, you can on the PSP versions. Not sure if they changed that for the 2.5 port.
@@nickmcsleighten Pretty much none i guess, it comes out pretty quick so unless you're on the ground and have good reflex, the doom string connects. Only managed to block because i was expecting a thrust and was surprised that it blocked the Doom strings.
I used the Rhythm Mixer strat on Terra. I feel no shame whatsoever, the game gave me tools and I used them to win. I’ve just got ol MF Doom to kill tomorrow.
Terra only has cinderella ballet dance finisher as a failsafe strat for 2nd phase since it has a passive regen. Kinda okay but you know, might as well use it since MF will vanish either way. And you know what, No Heart is awful too because that guy never staggered at all. Good game design (sarcasm), Osaka Team.

I just used strike raid behind the rock for all characters on vanitas remnant i seriously hate everything about BBS most of the story/all the mini games/gameplay/melding. Worst of all 100%ing the journal 3 times ..Still appreciate your videos and time you put into them

@@nickmcsleighten My main issue is how relentless Vanitas is. The fight just ain’t built for Terra.
@ frankly neither fight is, I assume they had to adapt the fights to Ventus and Aqua’s dodge which basically means Terra gets screwed
Turn on exp zero for the goofy and peter pan strat as exp zero increases command style finishers and d link finishers
