  • In todays video we take a look at creating a cinematic doorway scene, something you may see in most films and is a pretty common. The approach is to lighting this scene is budget friendly and indie film making style.

    This is a great breakdown! One note, be sure not to cross the 180 line for two over-the-shoulder shots. The result is both of your characters on frame left, with both of their eyelines going from left to right.

      Yeah, I filmed these on two separate days and when I was editing I thought something was off. Was so annoyed at myself for having messed up this foundational rule. Thanks for watching though and taking the time to comment 🙏

    You're breaking the 180 degree rule, it would flow better and feel better visually if you didn't break that line but good lighting break down
