I'm a mama to two wild + crazy little boys. I love sharing about motherhood and our life here on youtube. It's become a bit of a creative outlet + something I can do just for me. Plus I get to document so many sweet moments of the boys growing up! I'm obsessed with brunch food...mimosas (yes please) hanging out with the fam at disney, baking, solo trips to target lol. Let's be friends!! :)

The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want. He makes me lie down in green pastures. He leads me beside still waters. He restores my soul. He leads me in paths of righteousness for his name's sake. Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me. You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies; you anoint my head with oil; my cup overflows. Psalm 23:1-6

Oh, I feel you! Thank you so much for sharing!
My daughter just turned 8 and in the last year I have noticed a lot of signs. Yes it is very emotional. At days I feel like I did something wrong.
There’s more awareness for autism now
Thank you for the tips! I'm in the thick of it and feeling so alone!
Becoming a mom should enforce your identity NOT LOSE IT... Looks like you haven't found God, and that's why you are confused about your identity.
How is your baby now?
@@sswlhaadam1656 he’s completely fine, it was gone at the next ultrasound!
"Prioritize yourself"......this honestly justifies me probably deciding NOT to have children. My boyfriend really wants kids and i honestly do not. Ive been watching these videos to reconsider and its not helping. I might have to be honest with my partner and tell him im not the one for him. He really wants kids but i dont and i cant bring myself to want them.
How is your baby now,who born with cyst?
I'm going through this right now
You reached out to me. 1000 miles aways years later. I am slowly trying to find myself and I'm lost. I can't even recognize myself in the mirror 😭. Thank you for this
Thank you for this!!! Some of us did need to hear it!!! ❤❤
Watching this in 2024, I really need a break 😫
Thank you so much for posting this & being so vulnerable. I'm currently almost 4 months postpartum with my firstborn & am starting to realize that I have been ALL about my son & have forgotten about myself in a way. Today begins a chapter where I start to make some changes to create a good balance between who I am as a person, a mom, a wife, etc. Wish me luck! Thank you again!! <3
My only time I get for myself is having a shower or going to the bathroom and just sitting there that's my only time I get for myself ...
Hey Catherine Hope you are doing well Please come back with new videos I love your content and my life has changed a lot after watching your video
I hope she's ok. I just got caught up on Lincoln's autism videos and they were so helpful. Now she's gone :(
Widowed dad of an almost 6yr old girl here. I feel this applies to me too, having lost myself somewhere in a relationship that ended in cancer and now working full time and a full time dad with no family around. I've even lost the partial friend support of my late wife's friends with kids when I started dating someone new. Now that new relationship is on shaky ground because I haven't been able to find enough me to put into it and the parenting responsibilities have put a strain on it, even with an occasional sitter. Hate to think I need to let it go and just take myself out until I find myself or my daughter becomes less clingy. I don't want to do anything to break my father daughter bonds but it's a lot on me and I can't keep up with her constantly. 😣
1. Decide you want to change, and ask yourself what you’re done with. (Ex. Being tired, overweight, making excuses.) 2. Make a list of things you’d like to accomplish and change in the next year or so. 3. Focus on your health. (Ex. Drink more water, eat nourishing foods, diet, excercise) 4. Go outside. (Ex. Taking walks, going for runs, doing yoga) 5. Exercise. 6. Schedule time alone doing your favorite hobby. (Ex. Walking around target while eating your favorite pretzel) 7. Ask for help and support. People are happy to help you. 8. Find faith within a community. (Church, Community Circles, Gatherings.) <3 Thank you for sharing this. I do not have a child and am 19, but am currently going through the “letting yourself go” thing. It’s been a horrible feeling… I know I have so much potential and am a very strong person. But life just puts you in these slumps sometimes where you feel like you’re losing yourself…. These points that worked out for you stood out to me more than the actual tips you mentioned…. Going to start by journaling,… and taking time outside slowly. Then getting back into exercise. You are a beautiful reminder. Sometimes we forget, and that’s okay.
Thank you so much. The car has been my new meltdown Spot. I needed this so much. Good bless you Mama
I relate so much to this. Literally had my 2 boys a few months apart. & my oldest son was diagnosed with autism too. I definitely feel like my identity is revolved around being a mom. It’s so hard for me to give myself a break. Having a severely autistic child is also way more draining than having a neurotypical child. And nobody ik can really relate to my struggles. 😩
Heyyyy. It’s currently 6am and my child with autism has not slept. Moms in general have it hard but this autism stuff is like parenting x3. I have completely lost my identity as a person. I don’t even know what happiness looks like for me anymore. I’m starting to resent my child feeling like life would be better if I never had her. I just want to enjoy motherhood like the internet moms do. But the reality is this is the hardest, most life changing thing I’ve ever gone through, and I don’t know how to turn it around for the better. I feel like I ruined my life and now this is my life for the rest of my life 🥲
@@Mscokrissy715 I totally understand. My son struggles with sleeping also. On top of that he is super energetic. And that is causing problems with living in an apartment on the second floor. It’s definitely tuff because you never know if/when they are going to be able to live independently without you being there. You are not alone. And just remember that is your baby. & life isn’t easy for her either. It is the love that keeps us autism moms going everyday. ❤️
You had your boys a few months apart? What kind of freak are u
Hi I am 22 weeks pregrant, and same as you before that seen in my ultrasound, I am curious if what happened to your next ultrasound? does the cyst gone? Thank you
@christineparada hows yr baby now?
Try doing it at 33 😩 Im a ftm and Ive spent my twenties partying, travelling, I had so much energy. I would be able to go out partying till 6am and go to work and go out again. I assume I would have been able to handle sleepless newborn nights better at that age, and probably would enjoy my baby more. Its really tough doing it for the first time at 33. I related with everything else in the video, thank you ❤️
I didnt mean to take away from your experience, maybe it came out as that. Im just crushed from sleep deprivation and having a really hard time 😞
@@tequilabumbum4373 no worries I think it’s hard for everybody! I have an autoimmune disease that causes a lot of pain & fatigue so I feel like I’m 40 haha. You got this just keep making yourself a priority too 🤎
❤❤❤Thank you for that video!!!❤❤❤
Thanks for sharing - applicable to fathers too
I am going through this so bay right now. I am a single mom 2 boys one who is also diagnosed with Autism. I left their father a year ago after 17 years of domestic violence and we moved in with my mom. I have no friends, and my mom never will watch my kids for me to get away. I am so isolated and my kids are very attached to me. I feel like I am depressed and I also think I have PTSD from all the trauma. Thank you for making this video
I've been there leaving a DV relationship. It's so hard but I hope & pray that you're doing better. It takes a long time to heal after dealing with trauma. Give yourself time and it's okay to feel all of the things you're feeling. All the best to you 🙏🏾
Came across this video just now and it helped me so much 🥺 needed this !
Thank you for being vulnerable enough to share! ❤
We just got a diagnosis today for my grandson. We all knew as he is 4 and still not really answering simple questions. I found your channel and I like your take on things. I subscribed, then I noticed your name. My daughter is Katherine Alison Lorraine. Weird.
Wow, I got emotional watching your video. Everything you said resonated with me. It's so easy to lose yourself in motherhood, but we def have to make time for ourselves and pour back into ourselves like we pour into everyone else. Thank you so much ♥︎
You are so inspiring 💯🌈 thank you for sharing ! God Bless you Jesus amen!
My little one is turning 4, and suspect autism as well. his evaluation is not until July. My oldest was diagnosed at 6, and I was at first in denial. It's funny how I still feel it is catching me off guard with little brother, because their personalities/!traits present differently. I feel that high functioning is so easy to brush off as goofy, stubborn, quirky...etc. much like you said, I've been looking back at videos, flapping, head banging, and spinning, putting pieces together I didn't fully see in the first couple years.
This is a serious subject, so I don't understand why you're smiling & laughing so much. People who are researching information about Autism are worried about their child. They need comfort & understanding.
Thank you so much.. This is and was totally me.
❤ it was hard adjusting being a new mother
Thank you so much 🧡🧡 I wanna be your friend 😇
can we talk when you are free please? thank you
It’s a nice thought but if I don’t handle literally everything then nobody else will lmao
Hey I'm 19 weeks and a few days pregnant and they just told me I have a placental cyst that's 3.14cm , I just wanna know how bad it can be and is it possible to get bigger or harm baby? This is my fourth child and I'm pretty scared and curious. I just wanna know if it's curable And did they give you any medication?
hey wat was your outcome ? curently going thru it
@user-gi6gi3ro3x heyy and now that my son is almost 10 months old and healthy , I myself am doing good , I basically just changed my diet around and it pretty much went away on its own, they didnt see it after 19 weeks so I'm thankful 🥹🙏🏽
Which kind of diet u did
I can relate SO freaking much to this. Thank you. I have that "eating something myself" thing established a while ago and already feel so much better. I still have a long way to go. My birthday is coming up soon and someone asked me what I want and I could not think of anything. All that came to mind where things for my little one...
I typed'' I am a Mom and get lost in life'' and I found your video.Thank you so much for making this video. And I feel better after seeing all the comments. I am not alone.
Not alone at all!! It’ll get better ❤️🩹
Wow, I am so happy I am not alone. This is exactly how have I been feeling and this is really helpful. Thank you so much for making this video. I just started therapy for this reason, I have no idea who I am, what I like, what interests me, etc.
Therapy will be a huge help! Sending you all the prayers mama 🤍

My little does most of this. She also likes to just sit in a dark closet. She’s 1. Has your little one done this?

Loved this! I actually love wearing tighter dresses when I’m pregnant and showing off the bump! Definitely my favorite part of my pregnant body. Also that lounge set was so cute on you!

My son is 2.6 yrs old, recently diagnosed and I am heartbroken and overwhelmed in need of hearing positive outcomes from therapies and the process of figuring out what works for my child . I would love more content ❤ thank you so much for sharing something so private its so helpful to feel like there's someone to relate to in this crazy thing called life just trying to do what's best for our babies and family while trying to care for ourselves. You are an inspiration
I’m here for you if you ever need to talk! I remember just how hard it was at the beginning, you will get through it! Lincoln is THRIVING right now… in aba, potty trained, talking like crazy, making friends, dressing himself… so much progress im so proud of him and im sure your son will be the same. New content & updates are coming soon!
Don't worry! Autism is a more highly evolved brain than a neurotypical brain. It's not an issue in a child/adult. It is an example of how people are all different. As a resuly, there is so much development and evolvement that occur in those lucky enough to be around these people. Looking at this from how it presents spiritually, they have one foot in the spiritworld and one foot on the earth plane. They are such a gift here. I understand the following to support overstimulation and all other traits found to be challenging: Dance Movement Art Nature & Grounding of all sorts. I understand the aim of these activities is to get them into their body as much as needed to bring down what those around them feel to be challenging behaviours, but just as importantly to allow them to have a smoother less emotionally turbulent life here by helping them to be on the earth by grounding them. Sharing grounding ideas: *Pat their body down when autistic traits arise/as a preventive. *Walk or stand barefeet/body on the grass/connected with the earth. *Buy a good quality earthing bedsheet/blanket so they are earthed all through the night reaping huge 'grounding' time. *Dance *Play root chakra frequencies for them from TH-cam - with earphones, if possible. *Anything that involves movement. *Buy sensory toys/items. They are beautiful gifted individuals🙂
This is me 1000% . I became a mom to twins at 22 and, honestly, did not even know who I was before becoming a mom. Now, I'm more lost than ever and just feel like I am now making an effort to start finding myself for the first time. It's sad, I know, lol. Today is my first day on this journey and I'm hopeful
I got emotional as well because I relate so much... you've made me hopeful thar I'm not just dumb or hopeless lol. Thank you so much lovey
Twin mamas are such an inspiration to me, I hope that you can see how amazing you are!
@@catherinelorene9914 Definitely teared up, lol. Parenthood is HARD regardless of how many kiddos and how old, lol. I reached a breaking point yesterday and sobbed for a couple hours... my brain had been overwhelmed and overthinking for most of of the day (as I usually do) but yesterday I mentally reached a point where I was just exhausted. Thank goodness for my boyfriend.... he reminded me that I needed to first love myself and fill my own cup BEFORE I even try to fill everyone else's. It's honestly just sooooo hard because that's been my whole life pretty much. I really want to get better and find myself as an individual. I never got to do that before and it's become difficult since becoming a momma but I have to find a way lol.
