Out of all the videos on TH-cam about the installation, you are the best. You did a neat and clean job, you explained everything nicely, and you made it look like it was installed by a professional! Thanks for sharing this video for all of us! The most important thing that you are still doing, is answering questions from your followers after so much time has gone by, and in fact you don’t even own the rigg that it was installed in. Glad it helped! If you run you water pump with the hot water tap turned on (hot water unit off) then this will run the solution into the hotwater tank (if you have a tank hotwater system) and hot water lines. If you do have a tank hot water system, you should also regularly change the anode as well. Hope that helps :)

I don't like the ARB deflator type devices as you have to keep crawling around the tyres crouching etc, the iCheck are much better as you just screw it on and walk away, the only thing I don't like is as you found out you can easily accidently change the setting without knowing, I made my own 2/4 tire deflator that hooks onto all 4 tires and deflates them all back through one gauge, this way you know they are all the same as they equalise each other out, it can also be used to inflate all 4 tires in one go, no crawling around in the dirt for deflate or inflate

Why oh why wouldn't you just compare with Watts. Watts are Watts, regardless of the underlying geeky technical terms like voltage and amperage (and then formulas for conversion to power metrics). Some people just don't want to "geek out", and it's easy enough for you to help them out with simple comparison by converting those "geeky" terms to watts...so you provide maximal transparency that allow everybody to follow your comparisons The only reason that I can think of, that you didn't "just" stick to "watts" is that you "didn't want such transparency for the full public". If you're already throwing around terms like voltage and amperage, what else am I to assume? (that you were lazy? and didn't want to do a simple single multiplication?). But otherwise, good review and thanks for your efforts. Maybe I was a little abrasive, but my intention is to motivate you to stick to Watts, when you can. There are some appliance circumstances where you can't....but that doesn't apply to these refrigerators. (I like --> KISS - Keep it Simple Stupid).

I bought the 400 watt version of this (to supplement the 350 watts on the roof - not quite enough for me) and have been very impressed with the performance. On a sunny mid-winter day my setup gets 35 amps stable continuous charge (the flexible panels on the roof could do with a clean, though). My whole build is Renegy and it's been rock solid for two years of van life.

Installed one of these last year and they are far from accurate, I have the Renogy 200AH Core lithium with bluetooth and the 500A monitor, the monitor says the battery is 100% SOC at 200AH 13.4v while the battery BMS reports to the bluetooth app the battery is only 89% SOC.. DO NOT RELY on this bit of gear for accurate SOC info... YES I do have it installed as instructed and Renogy after sales support is non existent.. I love the 200AH core series battery but the rest of their gear can be sketchy at best.

Any reason why you didn't consider Evakool? I ask because the Bushman appears to be more popular for no apparent reason. In fact the only positives from the reviews is that it it's Australian made as is the case with EvaKool in addition to all reviews mentioning more cons than pros. It really has me baffled. For the record I don't own either brand, I'm still using a chest fridge'fridger (National Luna). Thanks for sharing, cheers.

It was recommended to me by a few people so I ended up with it. No regrets. Engel are a great brand as well but I’ve never used their products

Great video. The fuel pump tick is one thing, but I couldn't sleep with that fan noise ....
