hey mate, what roof rack/crossbar is this. Assuming a rhino rack vortex?? 🍻
Yeh mate Rhino Rack Vortex bar
If you install the thirsty nomad combination filters, these stop all the crap getting into the tanks to start with, especially if you have filled with bore water, they also purify the drinking water outlets from nasties like e-coli and many other nasty stuff, they are the only filters on the market that do this.
Yeh that's a great solution, thanks for sharing
The newer push-on versions from iCheck is easier to use - no chance to rotate the adjustment ring. In saying that, I since moved onto the morrfllate 4 way tyre system and digital deflator.
Yeh I have seen them. I would like to give them a try. Good to hear you found a system that works for you!
Looks like a good spot for the kids and adults alike.
Works great along with the folding mirror kit!
Yeh sure does!
what is the name of the surround you installed for the display? i need one too. thanks.
It’s just a power point cover I pinched off one of the other Power Points in the cupboard.
Made in Canada Sirococococo
Why didn't you try connecting the Bluetti to your caravan. And see what it would run in your Van. That would have been a great test.
I got sent this version by mistake from Amazon.
Do you have to have it attached to the van or is it able to be used unattached thanks
Isn't it an unfair test though because you're using an accumulator for the seaflo but not the shurflo...?
Question, I have a sienna mini van and i kept hearing the 5k would be too hot. so I got a 2kw like yours and now hear you have to run it on high to heat my van. How is the heat output on this and do you have to run it on high to keep warm?
Hi. What fairlead are you using
@@scottm3055 it’s just the Ultra Winch fairlead that came with the winch.
Awesome review thanks! I have decided to buy one now having seen your review, I was looking at Darche and Bushwakka and was getting conflicting information on what would fit my 2 bar Rhino Roof Rack, 1 minute into your clip was my answer. Thanks again. I'll have to have a look at your other videos, this was the first of yours I've seen. Great job!
@@scottobrien6465 thanks mate! Glad it helped Cheers for watching 👍🏻
Great tip, when we get a van I'll be sure to do this on the last morning as we head home, so we get both agitation, and a good day of sitting, then when we empty the next day we can give it a good flush and drain.
Looking forward to seeing your lap around 🎉
@@lizroberts9352 thank you! 🙏 we are looking forward to it! It’s not long before we leave! Eeekkkk
Awesome video. Easy to follow and understandable, thanks for posting
no problems mate! Glad you enjoyed
When reconnecting speaker wires how did you determine which wire connected which?
Can I use ecoflow delta 2?
I can’t see why you can’t.
If I put one in the new van I’ll likely set it up outside the van and run it for a few weeks to make sure it was ok.
I’ve stayed there, nothing special about it
Need a replacement bar any ideas ?!
Like your shirt, great video.
Thanks!
There is a silent pump on the market. Just replace it and the noise near desapears.
Great spot indeed. Us blokes stay at Moogerah Lakehouse Waterfront at least once a year.
I have seen them! They look great 👍🏻
That angle is actually good for the summer season. A lot of the other folding ones are too vertical for optimal summer use....which is when the AC will be running.
Yeh for sure. It just would be nice so that it could be changed for Better efficiency during none summer periods.
So much in common. We frequent Moogerah several times a year and usually stay at the normal campground. I have always wondered if we should give somewhere else a go, no boat ramp is a deal breaker though. We too are going on the lap in January. Might see you out there!! Safe travels
Thats awesome! We love Moogerah. One of our favourite spots! The scenery is amazing. Oh thats so cool you're doing a lap as well! We leave in Jan, and doing a figure 8. A brief tour of NSW and VIC and then slow the travels when we hit SA, then up the guts to NT and then across to WA :) I cant wait :)
@@GetCampingOz Sounds awesome. We have been going to Moogerah for 25 years.Seen plenty of different water levels. We are doing Tassie first for 5 weeks, then heading clockwise,Vic,SA,WA,NT etc.
Great video guys
Thanks mate!
Hi, liked your little 40Kg boat, do you know the weight of the outboard? Enjoyed your video , Cheers Graham
Thanks Graham. The 15hp Yamaha weighs around 45kg.
We've been here twice. Once in our van for a weekend. Watched a couple come and try and put up a tent. They weren't Australian. In the end they asked us to help put it up. The other time we stayed in the cabins for a birthday party. My family hired the venue out all weekend. The mattress's were pretty soft to sleep on. But a great hall with a big kitchen etc for the big birthday party. Wow how exciting starting the lap. Hope that will b us in the near future too.
Thank you! 🙏 yes very excited to be going on the lap! We are really looking forward to the adventure. Definitely going to be different from doing weekenders 😝
We where there for the last week of august for a family get together as we had 4 of the waterfront cabins but the the thing they do need is a pool as it was hot and to take the little one all the way to the beach just to be hit with waves isnt fun for them. I walked a long the foot bridge in the afternoon on high tide and seen a flat head that would have been arond 80 to 90cm and even got a pic of it. Everything else about that park is fine and can not fault apart from needing a pool.
Yeh a pool would be nice! Thanks for watching
The day use are over the other side get really busy in summer so if ya want a good spot for the day you have to get there early
@@bigles4545 yeh for sure 👍🏻 been there a few times over the years. Great spot
Definitely leave the tanks closed... I'm more worried about critters getting into my tanks. I generally leave the tanks full. Then before the next trip drain and refill.
Great video may I ask what size rivets and bolts did you use. Thanks in advance.
I just used a 4mm rivet and the bolts are an 8mm bolt that have a T slot nut for the roof rack channel. Cheers
@@GetCampingOz thank you for replying, appreciated.
Your obviously some cashed up w@nker that gets free sh!t. None of your DIY or reviews have been useful. You're nothing else but a cashed up self licking icecream
I enjoyed your music!✔️✔️✔️
Hi thanks for such great info. Can you please tell me how much your plan is in total. Would it be cost effective for 1 person. 😊
We have a $65 plan and add on a $10 plan which enables us to share the data.
In my setup in my Honda Element, the 12V 100 amp AGM battery is in a battery box that is fitted with a cigarette lighter style plug, into which I can plug an appliance (in my case a 12 V Setpower fridge) to provide power to the appliance. At the same time my roof solar panel is connected to the battery terminals to provide incoming power, through a charge controller, and I also have a Renogy 20 amp DC to DC charger that connects my starter battery to the terminals of the AGM battery so that I can safely tap into the power available from the alternator while the engine is running. What I want to do is hook up the Renogy battery monitor so that it gives a continuous readout of the state of charge of the AGM battery while that battery is supplying power to the fridge through the cigarette lighter type plug, and simultaneously drawing in power from both the solar panel and the starter battery. Any reason why that should be a problem?
My chainsaw will not start up again after putting in baar and chain oil.. how to remedy?
Not sure sorry. Maybe contact Ryobi.
We were there last year for 2 nights. It's good you can walk everywhere. We wouldn't go back there.we booked a water site. There was no way we could get our van in the site.So they gave us another site. Was not much better. If we went back we would definitely stay somewhere else.
@@lynschostakowski8819 yes it’s very tight. We seen a few people having some issues getting their vans in. Thanks for watching
My bracket arrived today, the AC vent feels like it's too stiff and is being stubborn. I don't want to break it
Yeh they can be a bit stiff but it will pop out
Just got one after spending days trying to work out where I can mount my hand set on my ranger. There's no flat surfaces anywhere!
Looked like the chain was a bit dull, didnt seem to lack power. I just got a bargain on two gas powered husqvarna and they run great but I had forgotten how horrobly loud they are. Looking to get a ryobi since I already got a few other ryobi tools
Approximately how many hours did the install take minus the video making time?
hey mate excellent video, just wondering how much was the stereo and speaker kit please?
Looking for bracket for 2022bnext gen ranger oricom uhf hand piece? Any suggestions
Yes these are avaialble on the website for Next Gen
What a waste of money to stay by the side of a main thorough fare.
Excellent video!!!...from a newbie wandering if 220w (prime deal $369), will work with bluetti AC70 1000w?. Thinkng of buying the 200W but for some reason no one has any reviews.
Yes, but since the Renogy's optimal operating current is higher (11A vs. Bluetti's 10A), you will get slightly reduced power from the panel under optimal conditions.
@ProfilaxAGM thks for reply. Bought Renogy 220w was on sale, cheaper than 200w. Fully charged my AC70 with cloudy skies in about 2 hours. AC70 excellent power bank kept Aspen 50 pro cooled down for 21 hours with 38% left.
Out of all the videos on TH-cam about the installation, you are the best. You did a neat and clean job, you explained everything nicely, and you made it look like it was installed by a professional! Thanks for sharing this video for all of us! The most important thing that you are still doing, is answering questions from your followers after so much time has gone by, and in fact you don’t even own the rigg that it was installed in. Very impressive!
