- This week we are on the Seashore and are back to MSC's Ocean Cay. We've been to Ocean Cay many, many times now... and the weather ALWAYS seems to mess with everybody's plans.
Hurricanes are a constant menace to Ocean Cay and always threaten to alter itineraries. Those are nasty looking clouds on the horizon... 👀

You guys had a nice relaxing day. The latin music was nice. My cubana wife just threw on some salsa jams and she wants me to BBQ today. The music inspired her to invite the kids over and have a BBQ day.😅

My husband and I were on Ocean Cay in February. We were sailing on the Love Like You Mean It chartered cruise. It was the only port we had good weather!

While we have not done an excursion while on Ocean Cay, we have been there when it rained really really bad one time (Our last cruise there in fact). and that was pretty crappy for a bit but then the sun came back out and steamed us all 🤣
We have tried 3 times now to do an excursion and failed every time so now we just enjoy the island 🤪🤪🤪
Yes that is a good thing about those storms at least… come and go quickly

Couldnt dock in Ocean Cay due to weather yesterday...

What were the changes made to the island recently? Did you notice any? My husband and I will be going on a 11 day cruise on the Seashore September 1st, really looking forward to going to Ocean Cay again😊
Ocean Cay is the best spot on Earth!!! Not a lot of changes that you would see. The second buffet was not open yet and there is construction going on in the center of the island. The biggest change we have noticed is how much the vegetation has grown… grass covers the slopes and there is so much more natural shade.
