Just to clarify regarding the Magna Carta. The original manuscript was produced multiple times for King John to sign in 1215. The exact number of these documents is no longer known, however there are 4 known surviving original manuscripts. They are owned by: 1x Salisbury Cathedral 1x Lincoln Castle 2x The British Library None of the known surviving original Magna Carta's are in private hands. The earliest version of the Magna Carta that was sold to a private entity was created in 1297 and is owned by David Rubenstein. Hope that helps clear up the confusion 👍

Heh... "STERNNNNN!!!! He's no good! Hanging's too good for him!" -- paraphrase from the classic 1981 Heavy Metal animated feature film. Captain Sternn and associated characters created by Berni Wrightson. The Sternn segment of Heavy Metal is regarded by many as the best character animation in the entire film. Sterrn was voiced by SCTV alum Eugene Levy with his defense lawyer played by Levy's SCTV co-star, the late Joe Flaherty. The Judge in this segment was voiced by John Vernon who was also the original animation voice actor for Iron Man/Tony Stark, The Sub-Mariner (both 1966 Marvel Super Heroes series), and later Dr. Strange in the 1990s Spider-Man animated series. Heavy Metal was animated in Canada.

Avengers/Defenders War. My first Avengers book was 118, and I was hooked. Englehart is a great writer, and the cavalcade of artists they had on the title over the years was mostly quality.

Loved Dan's Frankenstein piece. My only minor critique is I wish he would take it into Photoshop and free transform it to make the figure about 10% skinnier so it had a bit more of the Bernie...er...Berni gauntness. But it is an incredible image. Great work from all.

The Shang-Chi movie probably helped tank that price. I only know the 10 Rings from the Mandarin story line around the Psylocke origin. It's sort of weird having Hollywood writers farm different stories from different periods and then trying to re-harmonize them into one time line.

The irony of Aaron being paid by the Kamala Harris for Idiot in Chief campaign is delicious.

Everything you guys draw is interesting, but I think I like listening to all the war stories just as much! The topic of this drawing challenge reminded me of the calendars that G. Gordon Liddy of Watergate fame put out way back when he had a radio show, the calendar line was called "Stacked and Packed" and yes- nothing but babes posing with guns!
