Man-Thing minibust-- cool! I've been looking at getting another Bowen mini-bust of the Phantom Rider, aka original Ghost Rider... IF the price is ever right. I like unusual and simple character designs.
@@aaronlopresti5252 I do have the first two PS Artbooks volumes of the original Ghost Rider (Western) comic book series. It's not Marvel's -- it's the original version from 1949. After the copyright expired on the original Ghost Rider, Marvel swooped down and "adopted" the character. They literally took both the name (given to the Johnny Blaze version in the 1970s) and the character design. They/Marvel changed the character bio a bit and gave him a new alter ego but otherewise he's the same character! Same thing was done to the original Blue Beetle/Fox Comics character that was adopted by Charlton Comics.
I don't even remember Marvel Busts, though they're busting big time right now. I thought Man-Thing was supposed to be brown, to differentiate him from Swamp Thing. I'm not too familiar with David Finch, but from what I can see he's pretty good.
Man-Thing has always swayed from brownish-green to regular old green. He was more brown in the 70's but has become consistently green in modern times. Finch is one of my favorite modern artists. You should check out more of his work.
I got mine! Beautiful book. Great additions to the book with a pin etc. Finch did a fantastic job.
I got mine a few weeks ago, and the art is just fantastic. David does great work.
