did you only train kettlebell for this body result or did you also trainer gym fitness?
I’ve been training to compete in functional fitness, using barbells, kettlebells, dumbbells, and sandbags. However, I haven’t used any gym machines or trained specifically for muscle building. Form follows function.
This a trash program.
Let us not forget the original purpose of the Horse Stance. The Horse stance was used in the Shaolin temple to make sure the bones, tendons, and ligaments in the student's leg were strong enough for the various position the kung fu style demanded. Its very similar to the various Yoga poses that strengthen the body in various position. Anyone choosing to train the Horse Stance should understand already that its intended purpose is not muscle building or to become better at a specific movement. It's purpose is structural integrity by enhancing the resilience of the bones, tendons, ligaments, etc in the feet, knees, hips and the legs overall.

Planks are yoga which is for Hindus
Try again and involve intense static stretching, breathing technics and full range movement. Horse Stance will bring you to next lvl con I bring a lot of variation in my isometrics incl weight. Chill runs every morning before Sun and pullups dips for some Aktzente. Liegestütze 70 easy take a breath go to 100 + . i feel awesome and the HorseStance is indeed a thing i can do to still impfoof. That’s fair. I don’t deny the utility of the horse stance in certain circumstances. To determine if it’s useful for you, you need to understand your stretch goal. Then, establish a metric to measure your progress toward that goal. After that, practice the movement and see if it helps you reach the next level. If it doesn’t, repeat the process with a different movement, and so on.

@vitaliisivak4075 maybe it's good for the young or the strong,but being neither, I would never do that exercise. It just looks like you could pull your back out or something.
@@borg386 it does make sens what you say. When I started I felt some discomfort in spine, but when I get proper technique and engaged my core and pelvis, it became fun thing to do.
@vitaliisivak4075 fair enough. I'm sixty years old,and have only been working out for a month or so, so I'm reluctant to try any crazy stuff yet. Although I've taken to the " farmers carry" . That's how I got looking at the kettlebell videos. I've been carrying dumbbells around the yard, and thought maybe kettlebells would be better. However,I discovered simple 3 gallon water jugs do nicely as well. They weigh a decent 25lbs and are very comfortable to carry. Take care!

I went excessively heavy with my first KB purchase, so now I'm wondering if I can do this with 100lb. 😅 (So far I've only been doing two-handed swings and suitcase carries.) We'll see if my grip is up to snuff...

How much does each kettlebell weigh?
It's all individual. Take the weight that you can handle, but it should feel somewhat challenging. If you are a beginner, it might be 16kg. If you are on a stronger side, 24kg would work well.

Is it ok to bend the elbows for swings? I usually see them taught as closer to a natural/straight arm position? Or is this just a beginner variant? Its ok on the elbows?
Generally, yes. A slight bend isn’t too bad if the weight is relatively low. The heavier it is, the straighter your arms should be. Think of them as ropes.

Would this be suitable for women? I want to get really tone and see some abs if possible… it seems like forever I have been trying without seeing results.. I’m 44 and 130 lbs.
One hundred percent, it can work! Focus on the lifting weights part. Record the number of repetitions and the weights you lift during each session. Strive to increase the total load week by week, even by a tiny bit, but include regular deload weeks. Then, add a lot more protein to your diet while keeping calories at a level that meets your energy needs. On top of that, sleep more and rest well. The weight scale is a bad guide. Expect your weight to stay around the same level (it’s perfectly fine now), but focus on body composition changes instead. It will be slow, but at some point, you’ll be surprised by how much you’ve changed.

Can I achieve a Mr. Olympia physique with this exercise? Or at least an Abercrombie and Finch model physique?
It's highly unlikely to get a bodybuilder's physique using only kettlebells. But you can still build an impressive body if you target major muscle groups, consume enough protein, and have adequate rest.

You can definitely build some muscle with this complex, but I’d say that it is biased towards strength development. If muscle is the priority, I’d recommend complexes with higher reps or a program such as Dry Fighting Weight.
