Leer tonneau cover support shock/strut replacement
Mine blows the fuse but it’s after it’s worked for a week. I’m guessing it could be a door switch. Because I’ve replaced the fuse twice and each time it’s worked for a week
where did you get those struts, i do have leer cover on my truck but cant find any 19.7 inch is the full size once its extend , the cover is heavy should i go with 250 lb . where can i get it from . Kindly guide me plz Alawi
I bought mine on Amazon. I went with the 135 lbs. and it's worked great.
You spent more time showing popcorn than the problem. Do you think you need more practice at how to video the problem? Was the popcorn nice? 😂
Thank you for posting this video! Helped me out a lot!!
This was rough. I tried getting fan off. She didn’t budge. So I trimmed the shroud and pulled her. She’s burping right now.
@jimskatr103 This has 5.3l with the mechanical fan clutch. I also have a Trailblazer with the 4.2l. On the 4.2l, if you can't get the fan clutch off, the trick is moving the the ac condensor a little forward.
Would have been nice to show how long it took to fill a pail with water in the beginning . Then after the fix ,how long it took to fill same pail. THANK YOU.
Me: Did you fix my microwave? Allen : try the popcorn and subscribe buddy 🍿 ✅
Thanks a lot for the tip. I changed the door switch but I guess one of the wiring got mixed up as it keeps on blowing a fuse.
Can only outside spigots have a loss of water pressure while inside still has good water pressure?
Yes, if it's at the end of the line in your plumbing.
@@allensshenanigans348 Does that mean it just needs a new spigot or something more? Mine started with a dripping leak and would not turn all the way off now there’s very low pressure.
I don't think a new spigot will fix that issue. Check your PRV.
I need to do that. Did it solve the problem? Runs better? Better mpg?
Yes. The rough idle and almost stalling during idle went away. The fuel economy only slightly. I believe it was the original fuel filter.
Good video. Turn that wrench over so the torque is on the fixed jaw. Just some friendly advise.
Good Work, Question What Kind of Rubber / Plastic Plugs Did You Use On The Lower Transmission Lines ?
Sorry, I don't know the size of them. Just some vacuum plugs I had lying around. I believe you can get a pack of different sizes at any auto parts store for relatively inexpensive. Thanks for watching.
Thanks Much for this really good video!! I was relieved there is a chance we don’t have to by a new microwave!!
Why can't you just shut the water off on that line?? Why you gotta shut the water off to the whole house?
There are no individual shut offs for each hose bib. There is only one for the whole house.
28:13 That adapter just behind your left foot goes between the top of the ball joint shaft and the forcing screw. It's shaped inside to center the shaft and not let the forcing screw walk off the top.
Thank you for the tip I just got mines paid $45 and going to install it this week hopefully it goes as simple as your's did 😄 ty
Thank you for this!
There it is what
SO ALL THREE SWITCHES ARE THE SAME AS U DID NOT MENTION?
Thank you for the comment. On this particular microwave, 2 are normally open, and one is normally closed. This was definitely mentioned in the video.
TOOK me awhile to notice the difference as to location of contacts..one higher than the other two. Thanks again.
Was not my issue unfortunately. I have the same model. I watched this great tutorial and bought both the switches and black holder together not to have to do the work twice. I tested and retested the switches while in place for proper opening / closing with the door open and closed. All was find. I plugged it in , turned it on, fuse blow in split second. Oh well. it is 14 years old. guess it is time for new one. Thanks again for this video and update.
Good stuff! Heading to HD and try this now!!
it is so good to see a father and sons working together
damn those are terrible switches
Just disconnect the middle switch and leave it unconnected to the switch. You will still have the other two switches for safety. This is bypassing the blown fuse.
I'm an electrical engineer and saw the schematic. If you want to fix the fuse blowing without spending tons of money, just cut the single white wire on the middle (normally closed) switch. Do not cut the other side that has the white wire and black wire together. Tape up the white wire so it doesn't touch anything. This will disable the fuse blowing and your other safety switches will still work normally. Replace your fuse and plug in the power cord.
Thank you. Our 9 yr old GE has started tripping the breaker a few seconds into cooking. I took out the three switches. The middle and bottom look fine. Pulling apart the top switch I found that the contacts were welded together (any idea how this would happen, we never open the door until it's finished). I pried them apart and hit the faces with emery cloth. It's still popping the breaker so I guess it's time for a new switch.
It could be the switch bracket is getting worn. I have another video on that.
Thanks, I'll check it out.👍@@allensshenanigans348
Thanks I'll check it out.@@allensshenanigans348
Good video and great teamwork. You're both on the right track.
To prevent that high pressure fuel spray off, you can remove the FUEL pump relay in the engine fuse box, i think is relay 41, run the engine till it stalls, then when working below the truck, you can see a cap in one of the connectors, it is the fuel pressure relief valve, just put a pen or something so you can get out any remaining pressure , that way when you unhook the fuel lines, yo do not get that surprise fuel spit out.
Did that and ran it until it died. It still had pressure.
@@allensshenanigans348 idk what happened then, i saw other videos where they use the valve to relief the pressure so just little fuel come out.
Our Frigidaire Microwave stopped working after the power shut off to the house. After the power came on again, the Microwave interior light comes on, but the unit will not start. The display screen won't light up either. Any ideas on this? If it is the switches that are bad, where can I order them and are all 3 the same or are they different? Thanks in advance.
I hope you figured out your issue by now. It sounds like a different issue from the switches.
Thank you for your time in making this, new switches ordered
Mine juat started doing this. My ect would not get 150 but the eot would get upto 169 nothing more. But as i would drive it the ect would drop down to 136. Im really confident that its the thernostat. Also the heater in cab wouldnt feel hot. Barwly warm with fan on high. My 6.0 powerstroke is an 06 with 180k miles. Any advice before doing the thermostat replacement?
Make sure your fan clutch isn't stuck on high. That could cause some low engine temps also. I have found the advice from people to use mainly motorcraft parts, usually turns out to be true. There is a valve that hooks to your heater core hoses. Check that's functioning. Good luck with your repairs. Thanks for watching.
What is order of switches New ones had different color and I couldn’t tell which ones are closed or open switches
Might vary by brand, but for this microwave top and bottom are normally open and middle is normally closed. There should be a diagram on the side of the switches that tells you if it is open or closed. Thanks for watching!
I think i would have purchased a hole saw, it would be safer to use.
Thanks for watching. I tried but I needed exactly 30 mm hole for the lights to clip into. The hole saw wouldn't cut precise enough holes.
Oh, people took them when left on roadside.( House near highway).
Thank u for video. I have thrown out two microwave s almost new due to blown out fuses. Afraid MW having radiation waves.
Thank you for watching!
Just changed fuel filter. Still low rpms. Rins rough
Check for vacuum lines unplugged or damaged. Change MAP sensor. Pull and check the condition and color of the spark plugs.
I have a question replaced the fuse 2 weeks ago just blew again what type of switches do I need the fuse I replaced is a 20 amp 125 volt fuse model IS FFMV162LSA
There is a reason It's blowing the fuse. Check out my other video. It might help you diagnose the issue. th-cam.com/video/8PX6d-h6H9Y/w-d-xo.htmlsi=UMcvQMaFQ4zhxGjj
Thank you for the video - excellent alternative to the expensive permatrack . question - do you think these led pods are better than you typical single pixel 12mm one's ( which seem to be the standards ). also have you created a 3d printed bracket for the corner or maybe for the installation for them track to be more secure.
The lights have held up great. I had them on almost every night for the last 2 years. These have 3 leds in each one. They are brighter, but require more watts so it takes a bigger power supply. The double-sided tape didn't hold up and I ended up fastening them under the eaves with screws. For the corners, I just did 45 degree cuts. Thanks for watching!
@@allensshenanigans348 thank you for the quick response. which will you recommend for the one that require more watts ? ( not the one you have the link for )
@andrescastro6538 I am not sure what you are asking. The system I am using has held up great for 2 years. The weak link is the tracks are made of pvc. If I started over I would have used aluminum tracks and 24 volt lights. There wasn't much options when I first set up. Let me know if there is anything else I can help you with. Thanks for following.
You are leaving things out skipping how do you take off the panel

I just took mine apart and the switches looked fine, sanded the switch contacts shiny again and degreased the switches with alcohol and it works again Thanks!

i FINALLY FOUND A VIDEO THAT EXPLAINS THE SWITCH DIFFERENCES ABOUT OPEN AND CLOSED. i LOOKED AT AT LEAST 6 OR 8 VIDEOS THANKS FOR THE COMPLETE VIDEO
Where I have the same question
What should I search up on Amazon.? Frigidaire door switches?
Should work. Just add microwave to your search. Thanks for watching.
Also, how do you do power injection with these puck lights? It doesn’t look like they come with the extra cable for splicing power supply.
I think a string comes with around 10 lights and plugs on each end. I just spliced at the end near the plug.
How did you do the corners for your tracks?
I used a hand miter saw, 45 degree cuts.
@@allensshenanigans348 great idea thank you
Awesome video
What's the part number for the seals
What is the formula to convert revs/mile to Decimal?
I don't know if there is a formula to convert it directly. I just found a pattern after plugging in different revs.
Didn’t show repacking wheel bearings.. very good lesson for your man.. did you use hub oil to fill hub? When you pulled axle, fluid poured out.. didn’t show replacing any.
Is there a good DIY tutorial for a very handy but beginner to installing this lighting? I’m assuming some things change depending on the length you want to install or is it simple as put them up and chain them all together then into power supply and controller? Would really appreciate it- my kids would flip out!
Thank you for watching. I'll see what I can do.
