  • I created this video because I couldn't find a lot of information about calibrating the speedometer on my truck. My truck is a 2006 Ford F250. The tire size I have is 35x12.5x18. I found some of the information on different forums and some of it I figured out by playing around with different settings. I hope this helps someone. It has been a lot better having an accurate speedometer.

      Let me know if that works. The lowest revs per mile the module on my truck allowed was 600. Thanks for watching. Please subscribe to support the channel.

    I did everything you described in the video. Everything saved just like the video but nothing changed at the speedometer.

      Did you go back in the module and check that the changes were saved? What revs per mile are you trying to change to?

      @@allensshenanigans348 I did. I followed your video to the T. Can’t figure out why it had no effect on the speedo. 607 shows updated in both modules. This truck is been a lemon from the day I bought it so nothing really surprises me anymore.

      @@chrisn.4136 Just keep playing with it, you'll figure it out. I would check the module to see what differential is in it and make sure it matches the gear ratio of the rear end. Then keep changing the revs until you see a change . Thanks for watching! Please support the channel by subscribing!

    I installed a larger fuel tank in my 2006 f250 6.0. Went from 30 gal to 51 gal. I get p0460 code after a long drive. My understanding is the computer needs to know I have more fuel or travel distance. Any idea how to use forscan to adjust this setting. Thank you

    • @allensshenanigans348
      @allensshenanigans348  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I don't think Forscan is capable of that. I know there are a few things like power balance that were never developed for the 6.0 in Forscan. Thanks for watching. Please support the channel by subscribing.

      I know for newer trucks FORscan can calibrate larger fuel tank sizes. Hard to find info on whether it can on a 6.0L though

      I don't know if there is a formula to convert it directly. I just found a pattern after plugging in different revs.

    Hello! Can someone please help me getting the HEX number for my 37 inch tires?

    • @allensshenanigans348
      @allensshenanigans348  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I believe the programming only allows as low as 600 revs per mile, which converts to hex of 5800. I am running 35 inch tires and I am using 606 revs per mile. My speedometer is right on with my GPS on my phone. Save your original settings before you change anything. Follow the directions in the video, but try 5800. Let me know how it works for you.
