Excellent video review of the 2025 Subaru Outback Wilderness. It's probably the best review video I have seen on this vehicle! Thank you for putting the video together for us!!!
Excellent review! I purchased 2025 OBW back in October. Coming from owning Toyota`s all my life it was quiet a change for me. Unfortunately Toyota dropped the ball lately with insane pricing, lack of deals and quality issues, so i went with Subaru and you know what, no regrets. So far i put about 7k on it and i can`t really pinpoint things that i don`t like. My biggest concern was CVT transmission, but it turned out to be ok, just took some getting use to. Great car i must say.
It is also equipped with a forward-looking camera in the grille. From your comments I don't know if like the vehicle or not. They make other Outback's that cost more than this Wilderness.
The Outback wilderness is by far the best of all Subaru’s it is what you would call the ultimate all wheel drive Beast, I don’t under stand someone would buy something other than this and put a damn after market lift this is the TRD Pro of Subaru’s and is the rubicon
Great review. I go back and forth on getting this trim or the Onyx Xt. I also like the Touring XT but wish you had the option to get a full size spare. Any thoughts on which of the three trim levels you would get or recommend? Thanks
It all depends on whether you want the turbo engine or not. If so, the Onyx XT will save you some money. If the turbo doesn’t matter, I’d go with the limited trim and save five grand or so.
@@chabbysrides thanks. I like the extra power the turbo provides. I do not expect it to be speedster. If I wanted that I would get an Explorer ST. LOL 😂 I do not plan to do a lot of off roading so perhaps the Onyx XT may be the one for me. I like the option of the full size spare like the Wilderness.
The wheels are sick are you kidding me? ever seen and old subaru GL? These give the same retro vibe and I love them on my 22 wilderness. And how is the cladding on these any different that all the cladding that the new toyota trucks get on the offroad trims? Not to mention all those gaudy fender flares that people insist on putting on their lifted trucks with oversized tires, I think the wilderness outback looks 10x better. Although I do agree the amount of cladding they put on the crosstrek wilderness is definitely overkill

They do like the Touring XT. I’d rather be high 30’s on an Outback than mid 40’s. Thanks Martin 👍
@@chabbysrides It is a little pricey for sure. They sit on our local dealer's lot for a while before being sold.
Same here.

rusty rotors? not a good look.
Sorry, I can't get accustomed to the ugly wheels and excessive cladding , give me any other trim!
You couldn’t get any trim if it was gifted to you.

Like they say, beauty is in the eye of the beholder.
Very true Ron. But I have a feeling this will look better than the 26 redesign.
Parking brake.
Would you use it in an emergency ?
