This view is before work. I had to remove downed tree.... then replace (damaged during tree removal) small dock that accessed the pond drain valve. Also, extensively widened the spillway to allow more water outflow during heavy rains (17 in. of rain topped dam and washed out a good portion of the gravel driveway after spillway was blocked by small rockslide.

Set up my trail camera and this creepy Christmas dude to see what kind of reaction I would get from the crows and squirrels below our birdfeeder. This particular squirrel didn't like it. I believe he's the same one who we've seen attacking the crows when they get too close.

Bear #2 returned overnight. Tripped temporary booby trap (aluminum ladder/boards). No harm done. Set up rig to keep bears from breaking in to our trash/storage locker until repairs are done.

Black bear paid a visit. Checked out the bird feeders and then the blueberry bushes.

This bear is a return visitor from last spring and summer.
