i love how he's the dumbest smartest member in the party, the most loveable and hateable, trustworthy and least trustworthy i can't help but like him as he's just a creation of his environment and went a little insane but he had the possibility to change given the "false" and his dying wish, had he been more sane he'd have been your bro and rival also the reason i say fake in quotes if it may be my own theory or head canon, but i like to think that the "dream" atechi isn't fake from your mind but his soul, you all came into contact with the main threat before, who's to say he couldn't feel that atechi wanted more and to do good so he just gave him back his body, which would explain why he would have to go during teh ending scene but shows up on the train, he either in the world reset by morgana got reborn changed or his soul was given back to the world as he wasn't evil but rather forced to be that way and wasn't sane thanks to his trauma, he with full heart just wanted to better teh world, he just didn't realize he was doin it the wrong way until it was too late, only after joining the gang do you see that he actually liked them all but growing up with only hatred he doesn't understand love and sees it as weakness which is why he only ever admits Joker as a friends, someone he trusts so much as they were basically brothers after everything happened

One of my favorite parts of fe3h ost is that some of the related songs have related names For example: A promise and unfulfilled are variations of each other and together are a promise unfulfilled showing how the "promise" of the happy days of the monastery lasting forever was unfulfilled And blue skies and a battle + between heaven and earth together become blue skies and a battle between heaven and earth. They're both very similar but obviously blue skies and a battle is the "incomplete" version since its foreshadowing to the real battle of gronder field later on in the story. It's no longer just a friendly competition under blue skies but an actual battle between different views, between heaven and earth

This is an absolutely fantastic video, and I love the analysis on Rhea and her motif particularly, it truly is such a shame we didn’t get to hear many new variations of it in Three Hopes, even though Melody of Clarity and Funeral of Flowers are both fantastic. Should you ever do another of these I’d love to see a video on the Bayonetta series and its motifs, it even shares a few of the same composers that featured in Three Houses/Hopes, ie Rei Kondoh (the composer for Funeral of Flowers) composed another very emotionally charged theme in Bayonetta, titled “You May Call Me Father”
