Akira is Tatsuya, Yusuke is Eikichi (or Ryuji, personality-wise) and Ann is Lisa!
I love this, it fits too. Didn't expect someone to make one for P2. Maybe EP and Persona 1 PSP are next?
After 2 hours of P2 gameplay, Ryuji and Eikichi are definitely the power duo.

she really became one of the top 3 persona characters for me and she's 1st honestly with maruki probably 2nd.
She was what made me realize that I need to stop wasting my time chasing girls and instead pursue a woman. And she is also super cute and relatable and really down to earth, it's kind of hard to not have a crush on her.

This may be unironically a great way for people who are interested in Persona 5 to start to get interested in Persona 2.
Unfortunately, Eternal Punishment is not translated, and I don't know how close to finished the fan translation is.

God no. It’s like the darkest entry in the series. It would be weird seeing tatsuya or Jun dancing. Eikichi prob would make it work
@@ARZ_201 original p5 intro wasn’t that happy. Persona 2 isn’t completely mainline megaten levels of misery, it has fun sometimes, persona 5 is also pretty dark at points. But it could work, maybe
@@SenhorKoringa I wouldn’t say p5 is dark. It’s mainly p4 levels of dark. Plus the p5 intro wasn’t gloomy. They were dancing
@@ARZ_201 the intro was happy, but the game’s first villain is a physically abusive teacher who drives a girl to suicide, persona 2’s protag makes motorcycle noises, both games are around the same level of tone
@@SenhorKoringa what kind of point does tatsuya making motor cycle noises contribute to things. It’s just something he does. The story is the darkest in the series. P5 doesn’t come close. Yes shiho almost committed suicide but she didn’t die, so it’s not as bad.
Persona 2 is an amazing game it’s sad no one seems to care about it. But this is great.

it's probably because the producers for the hashino games didn't want to mess with the okada games to give respect to his work. but persona has a new director now, so we'll see how this works. they worked on persona 5 royal and that turned out beautifully so i hope great things

Really good, but it’s a little weird that Ryuji, Ann, and Yusuke are the only ones to get their own screens (and Akira of course)
The main reason for this was to follow the format of the P2 opening. I did try to introduce every member, but I felt that the mood changed when there were too many characters introduced in the beginning part. So I basically just chose the first 3 (human) party members - since they were the ones given major introductions in the OG vanilla p5 intro.
@@theflightofarobyn I guess that makes sense, though I would have picked characters with major significance to the overall plot: Kasumi, Akechi (definitely not biased), and... Morgana?
