Is it possible to avoid the freeze by breaking formation quickly, or would you have to just knock down one of them at a time?
Another thing I'm curious about: any progress on your elemental damage comparisons, if you've managed to get around to testing that?

Hiya! The freeze is immediate, so I don’t think it’s possible to get out of it. In terms of the damage comparison, I did start with it, but I encountered a problem. Basically, the five enemies I usually use to get max damage through hollow jester have elemental weaknesses, which means that certain skills were doing far less damage (since weakness damage is taken over technical damage)! I’m currently trying to find another way to use the same method (perhaps on a different group of 5), but if worst comes to worst I will test weakness damage instead of technical - i.e. I’ll make all enemies weak to all affinities using distorted vanity, just so that it’s a fair comparison you know.

AzoriusGamer Maybe! I see in the ID tables there is only one other version called “Fake Artist’s Grace” which I haven’t tested. I’ll see if that’s the AOE version. Thanks for the suggestion!

So you can knock down Caroline and Justine, but you can't follow it up with an All-Out Attack.

or talk to them! When you knock Akechi down, he actually has negotiation dialogue. I would have loved it if the twins did too.

Could you please do some testings the difference between Light, Medium, Heavy, and Severe magical moves on neutral, technical, resistance, and weakness situations ?
People should know if it's worth to drop heavy skills for severe ones. That would be truly appreciated :).

I’m currently working on a comparison video for elemental magic - the issue with comparing technical damage is that I won’t be able to set fair parameters on one enemy type as all enemies have at least one elemental weakness (weakness damage is taken above technical damage unfortunately, even if it is less damage). So as a compromise I am comparing weakness damage by inflicting artists grace/distorted vanity on one enemy type so that it becomes weak to all elements. Hopefully that video will be up soon!

And yeah unfortunately, for whatever reason, Weaknesses are prioritized over Technicals...
But can't you just use Technicals with affinities that do not trigger weaknesses ? Say you use for example Ice or Electric on Fearful/Forgetful Slimes ?

Wait, I thought you could knock them down in Royal, but not in vanilla? I think I saw a P5R video where the player knocked them down and did an All-Out Attack without the game breaking. Or was it Lavenza...?

@@Vysetra With Madarame's first phase, you don't even need to save edit to knock down the paintings (just execute the special order when it comes up). Assuming you don't immediately finish them off once they're weak to everything.
