This pump actually came with the van when I bought it. You can get pumps from caravan repairers or places like Road Tech Marine.

34 years wow! Such a great place to holiday with kids and let them run wild. Yeah, I've often found camping down the river is better when there's a few people around. Beautiful place with so many great little spots dotted along the river there.

Thanks mate! With the black hose I ended up just attaching the filler cap and have left it loose just rolled up on top of the bladder. I was going to mount it up higher as a filler point but I’ve found I haven’t needed too and it’s fine as it is and doesn’t leak. Have you bought a Drifter Stockton bladder also?

@@TheBeatenTrak beauty cheers! Yeah thinking of getting one in the back for my Hilux and set up the same system as you’ve got there. Did you have a seperate hose to fill up the bladder or just used the same connection except connected it to a tap to fill it?

My slide and tracks are accessible from under the front bed. I guess if you needed to you would just have to unbolt the tracks and pull out the slide but I've never needed to do that.

That's awesome mate! Definitely a lot of fun and quite rewarding but it can be difficult to find the time especially with family life and kids around to get the project done. Mine took me a fair while to complete. You can get everything you need for the external including the chequerplate, joiner strips and trims from Ulrich. If you have an Ulrich locally i'd suggest calling in and having a chat to them and get some samples. Luckily I didn't have to replace the roof on mine, I've just repainted it. The roof is a timber frame with fiberglass skin and rebuilding it would be quite a project. Is your roof in poor condition?

Yes it needs to be recladded as timber around the top edge is warped and rotting. So we have leak’s everything and it’s an advance koala pop top. 1986 model Need some ideas on what to do

I guess the first set would be removing the roof and then having a good look at how you go rebuilding it. Unless you take the van to someone that could do the project for you. It's just the original hitch on the 1988 van which I haven't upgraded.
