Every Unit Battle Royale | Mindustry
About Unit Production:
Units are spawned in the map with world processors, and there is a delay after each spawning, that being the unit's production time:
For T1 units the production time is the same as it normally is.
For T2 and T3 units the production time is the total of it's production time and all previous tiers (ex. Mace production time is 15 + 10). Also the normal production time
For T4 and T5 Serpulo units the production time also follows the same rules as with T2 and T3 (ex. Sei production time is 45 + 10 + 30 + 90)
T4 and T5 Erekir units are more complicated, because they are built differently. I decided that the production time should be the production time of a T3 plus it's production time (ex. Tecta production time is the production time of Anthicus plus 70 seconds)

@snowygo Yeah the video doesn't quite explain everything. Some countries have multiple has_dlc lines, including majors. There are also NOT has_dlc lines, that should not be deleted. I probably should make a newer video, and explain all of this.

i’m glad units can spawn without a captured core, because it gives a comparison of which units are the most bang for your buck
@@coppertones7093 Yes, I had to do that because there were many cases of the T5 cores being captured before they could spawn in

Maybe add a small amount of defenses to each side to give both sides more time to produce their stronger units and not have t2 or t3 destroy the enemy unit production too fast
@@mrt1880 That is something I might consider doing, as It would be nice to see the higher tier units clash.

@@unit_roblox To make such maps i use a mod called mapping utilities. I'm thinking about making a tutorial, because there are a lot of things to put into account when making such maps
T1-3 are produced faster by serpulo, T4-5 are produced faster by erekir

Пауки весьма неплохо сдерживали танков, пока корабли не снесли половину базы. Но что самое интересное - почему корабли не полетели к танкам? там больше шансов сломать базу, оставаясь недоступными для атаки
Думаю просто потому что кораблям было ближе к мехам чем к танкам
Это ещё корабли Серпуло не выпускали, и даже небольшой армии собрать не получилось. А в Эрекире увеличен лимит юнитов раза в 2, так что не совсем объективно. В итоге Эрекир должен давить толпой, а Серпуло постоянно самохилиться(парусы наше всё)...

it's worked with every country besides norway from what i can tell, for some reason that one doesn't seem to have any arms against tyranny line in the file?

TF you mean "if"? mindutsry *is* a strategy game. unlike what that other commenter said, its *only* a strategy game. base building and optimization of factories is strategy. in fact, removing the base building elements removes a lot of strategy from mindustry
@@hellofend4734 I am fully aware that Mindustry is a strategy game. The gamemode I am working on is meant to be like a simple version of HOI4, although in this video it doesn't look like much yet. Gosh for once I have to change the video title
I am going to add more features to this gamemode other than just commanding units, currently that is just what it is.
Well, world processors add a sandbox element. I think many other genres can be recreated in mindustry

Well, yes, because the player can take advantage of this as the enemy ai doesn't know how to use novas. I am planning to add more features to this custom gamemode, so if you have any suggestions let me know!
@@GAMP-S add some purchases you can do with excess resources manually and increase graphite production, would certainly improve resource balance and add more strategy than commanding units
@@GAMP-SHow about adding "extractor" upgrades: eg t2 drill to t3 and later t4, additional factories that need to be rebuilt (starting as neutral husks) which are able to construct higher tier units
@@Cyanfox3006 Yes! I will definitely add more unit tiers to the gamemode. Upgradable drills are going to be tricky but it is doable
@@GAMP-S (im not too familiar with world processors, imagine illiterate barbarian trying to help you) You could make them separate entities >If no drill exists, spawn t2 >If t3 drill exists, remove t2 (same with t3 & t4) >If ## resources are in specified container, spawn (current tier+1)
HOI4 would still cost less than unlocking all the countries and continents in st2
Honestly guys the closest mobile game competing with HOI 4 is AOC 3
This is quite interesting, my takeaway from this is that Serpulo has to act fast and take out Erekir's unit production to win, otherwise it will get overwhelmed because it's only on paper advantage is construction speed
st2 and hoi4 are the same .-.
ST2 and HOI4 share almost no similarities, for example, HOI4 is actually good.

For all asking how to get it with majors but not doing it in 30 mins, there is an option that it says "see" then go to "Search" just search has_dlc so you don't need to scroll and there u go. (pin?) Edit: did it and took me like 5 mins Edit: Found a faster way, do almost the same, but DO NOT CLICK SEARCH, click "replace" and then type has_dlc to space, there u go, some free time saved. (pin, my comment was better explaining >:()
Yeah, how you gonna get the tank, plane and navy designers then? This is national focuses only. I'm a modder and I very well know that it's better to buy/sub to get the DLCs.

In Mindustry, there are a total of 256 teams, to get them, you need a mod called "mapping utilities"

I have a question: do i also delete the NOT = { has_dlc = "Man the Guns" } lines?
The "NOT has dlc" lines are the opposite of has dlc lines, which means they check if you don't have a dlc. I would usually delete those but they can sometimes break focus trees, so I wouldn't touch them.

@@sourpusstv7984 yes. The limit ones are basically just like regular has dlc ones so I think those should be deleted. What focus tree are you doing it on?
