When the ROG Ally first launched, there was a lot of concern with how this device would hold up long term. There were worries about the SD card issue, warranty issues & concerns about a degrading battery. The ROG Ally X is the best Windows handheld and a massive improvement over the original Ally. Buut, is the Ally still the best option for people who want an affordable windows handheld. Every year a dozen new windows handhelds pop up claiming more power & more battery life. but what if one of the best windows handhelds actually from the past? Today we’re taking a look at the original ROG ally to find out if it’s still a great option in 2025. The PSP was my very first handheld console. It had 5 hours of battery life and GENUINE console quality games like GTA, Midnight club and test drive unlimited. they managed to fit a 1:1 scale of a Hawaiian island onto disc and I loved this thing. When I new handhelds like the steam deck and rog ally came out, I was super excited. I picked up this Used ally on Facebook Marketplace and I’ve been using it for 8 months now and here’s my review
