40:00 to 45:00 especially for me because she’s describing the one large personality difference that marks the feminine mind: agreeableness. It’s more than a standard deviation different between traditional categories of male and female on personality tests. I think that it doesn’t even completely track or fit male-female and physical characteristics but that it gets started as a prejudice which is sparked by real statistical differences and gets polarized by feed-back loops of prejudices into a mind-niche that females are forced into by all of society. Not just men, but the large number of women who are also more like this. I think it’s as useful as understanding shadow and projection to understand the society and its dynamics in order to free yourself and be who you really are. Of course the male aspect of this is a mirror for disagreeableness. I like the idea of the feminine mystique and the feminist mystique. This woman is so beautiful, powerful, and full of wisdom it’s like a laser god is shining on a hologram. ❤️‍🔥👁️😊 It’s up to us to find out which flavor of goddess we are and shine that into the world. Find a mate who sees who you are and amplifies your ability to be that. ❤

I am about 1/2 way through her crical important bio of CG,, GOLD MINE ,, essential reading for anyone remotely interested in Jung, Ive read Hannah and Von Franz, both excellent, have WEHR's arriving today,, bair's masterpirece completes a full understanding of Jung's inner thoughts and ways of thinking. Its a miracle we have Bairs reseaches,, which I know was long , arduous and expensive. Miracle, w/o this work we would be in the dark about much of Jung's inner world,, Will say though pasrts in the 1st alf I skipped over.. But its the greater other parts which more than make up for the dull sections. This book is required reading for any one even slightly interested in Jung's studies. Here we are 20 yrs later this bk 2003, and yet not given attention that it deserves. 10 yrs this YT vid, 2.7k views, 4 comments, shameful post modern man, Proves man is ona steep decline with nothing to save him. paul New Orleans

I simply cannot get enough of Dr Edinger for his deep insights into Jung's thinking and massive opus, which can be very difficult for us small intelligences to understand....not to speak of to read. I watch these videos over and again, and am deeply grateful to have the opportunity to hear Dr. Edinger explore and explain Jung's brilliant ideas. Thank you so much for making this possible.

Ive been interested in JUng past 30+ yrs,,, more off than on,,,, only found interest in Jung and Von Franz,,, other Jungian authors never interested me much,,, and seeing bits of this video,, now i know why I passed up *UTHe Jungians** authors.. I am now re-reading JUng from a higher/nroader perspective,,, Understanding what I will keep of Jung what I will toss aside. Here w Hollis, his bk titles sound intreguing,,,but when you approach Jungian material from this higher perspective,, you find the content to be a bit rambling, off center,,, not accurate,, and thus a bit confusing,, Things we DO NOTTTT need today,, what we need NOW is Clarity, focus and deep undersatnding = DEpth Psychology as Neumann calls it. I never cared for ERich Neumann. I'm only a student of JUng and Von Franz,, though some of what each says, I confront as a critic. I've come alongggg ways,, and hope to share Jung's ideas froma new perspective,, thats some years off. To the JUngians I present Yeshua,, and to the protestants I present Jung. I could never ever go to the prots asa ***christian*** nor to THe Jungians as a student of JUng.

I just wanted to take a quick break before I start researching for my first blog post about Jungian psychology. I went to TH-cam and saw that Lex Fridman & Andrew Huberman had just released a new episode. I skipped immediately to the part about the Jungian Shadow - and that's how I ended up here. I don't think it's a coincidence. It feels more like synchronicity. I am looking forward to the final result of what the unconscious led me to.

@@jancarlo8834 I have started my blog and a podcast (in german) and I am still using inspiration from this presentation. Due to its density, there is a lot to elaborate on. To be honest, I have only listened to the first 20 minutes because the note taking naturally turned into writing down spontaneous ideas and thoughts, which then became the basis for the articles. So it will probably take a while to digest everything. But isn't that what I was looking for - going into the deep? The process of writing about philosophy and psychology seems so naturally to me as if it gives me a sense of purpose - even though it's a lot of hard work. Hence, I am very glad that I have opened up to the possibly of finding meaning (and synchronicities) in my life.

Edinger’s suggestion for “how” to individuate is describing basic Buddhist, Taoist and Yogic philosophy. Basically, become aware of your tendency to get caught up in the passions, learn to disidentify with them, and practice equanimity. What the Jungians lack is the practical means to support this capacity, which are fundamental to the eastern traditions. Without the methods to regulate the nervous system and relax the body and mind, it’s very difficult to cultivate equanimity and rest within oneself (and stop projecting the opposites outwardly). The yin yang is the most elegant symbol of the conunctio. Jung’s bias against westerners taking up the philosophy and practices of the eastern traditions is a major obstacle for fundamentalist Jungians IMO.

I would say that one has to live the process over and over again whenever one meets...a new "facit" of the Other. Whenever the ANIMUS or ANIMA is constellated. In practice, we first try everything we already KNOW...all of the things that have been tried before and have been handed down to us. But these things don't feel exactly right...and slowly one arrives at a point where one DOESN'T KNOW...and what does one DO, then? WHAT doesn't one know? One doesn't know what it MEANS. One must ASK "WHAT does this (particular, very singular, detailed, unique [yet recurring] ) SITUATION mean? The ACT of ASKING results in INSIGHT...that has all of the properties of the ...irritating, painful, upsetting, insoluble, infuriating.....Crucifixion , yet Rise Again...in NEW FORM...Redeemed.

I had to stop listening at the begining. The man , 'Andy' so and so whom the speaker refered to as a doctor with Aids who died from Aids is not true. This is an absolute lie. The truth is, AZT, the experimental drug pushed by Anthony Fauci and demanded by the gay community killed thousands of men in their prime. You can read the facts or go along with the myth, that HIV causes AIDS. Read Deadly Deception Inventing AIDS Virus Mania Goodbye Germ Theory (Ending a Century of Medical Fraud)

Double anima is fully accepted in Southern India. Lord Vishnu had two wives, Bhudevi and Sridevi. Ganesha had two wives, Riddhi and Siddhi. Shiva had two wives Ganga and Gowri. Lord Muruga had two wives, Devyani and Valli. This is all done without preaching polygamy, with understanding that ONLY Gods can handle polygamy. I am yet to find a double anima story in west, but love triangles are quite common.
