I don't know. Low-voltage differential signaling (LVDS) cables connect the main digital board of a modern TV to its display panel assembly. There's only one per TV. Thickness varies not only between makes and models but also with the size of the display panel assembly. The bigger the TV, the more wires in the cable. The same is true for the white flat pack cable (FPC) that I insulated with cellophane tape to repair this TV. Smaller TVs have fewer and narrower FPCs. As to how many grounds are in these cables? There might be a formula. Best answer I can give you is that it varies...

Go to Settings, About and note the exact version of Android on the device. Look for USB ports. I also need to know if the device has any USB ports. Tell me what you have and with that information I'll tell you how I would go about updating it.

Not much to go on here. Do you have the phone's 120VAC to 5VDC wall charger plugged into a 120V AC inverter socket on the power pack? Or, do you have the phone's USB charging cable plugged into a USB A socket on the power pack? Or, do you have the phone's USB charging cable plugged into a 12VDC to 5V DC cigarette lighter plug connected to a 12VDC accessory socket on the power pack? I've tried all three ways and I can not duplicate the symptoms you describe. The only problem I did have is when trying to charge an old Motorola flip phone using various USB camera cables. None of the camera cables I tried had their charge lines connected, just data lines, so none of them were able to charge that old phone. Interested to know which charging method you used and whether or not you tried any of the alternate charging methods...

As I recall, the key button saves configuration data to a temporary memory allowing new batteries to be installed without the loss of station presets. Is the radio suggesting that you need new batteries? Do the symptoms persist using the AC adapter? Those are the first things I would check...

Here's what we read in the manual about the Keys function: ...........LOCKING A STATION INTO MEMORY After programming your stations into memory you may lock any station into memory to prevent accidental erasure or elimination should the ATS feature be turned on again....To lock a station recall the station you wish locked and press MEMObutton (16) [M] and then lock button (9) [ key simbol ]. The display will show memo locked symbol whenever that station is selected. To remove station from locked position repeat above procedure and locked symbol will be removed and station will no longer be in locked state.

RE: "I only use the radio with the AC adapter.." Have you tried installing a fresh set of alkaline cells and operating without the AC adapter? If the symptoms persist, it's not a power problem. If the symptoms disappear, then the adapter needs repair. Easy enough to verify... I've actually not used my ATS909 or my CC Radio since nonstop DJT bashing started 8 years ago. Haven't watched broadcast TV since then either. We used to play both radios every day. I even had a VCR connected to tape the Art Bell show every night. Such a shame what's happened to the alphabet networks. If everyone reasoned like me, broadcast media would have been out of business long ago.

Unfortunately, inverters on model XP2260, at least the few XP2260s I've seen, are not easy to service. The wiring harness does NOT plug in. There are 1/2 dozen wires that have to be cut just to remove the board. Extraction is not easy, either. Once you get the board out, there's a big heat sink over the top obstructing visual inspection and troubleshooting until it's removed. Even if you you find something, there's no way to test whether the board is fixed or not without putting everything back together. That involves fabricating a plug in wiring harness. I failed on the only XP2260 inverter I tried to fix, and it was such a frustrating experience that I'm in no rush to try again. For me, it's a parts unit. Also, for what it's worth, Schumacher error codes generally start with an F, which does look like and R on the 2260, until you look closely. According to www.manualslib.com/manual/756797/Schumacher-Electric-Xc75-Ca.html?page=8 F02 = "The charger can not desulfate the battery." To verify that try connecting a known good, external battery. Have you taken apart the unit and visually inspected the board as shown in this video? Did you see any burned, conductive glue? Any cracked solder? Any unwashed flux? The minimum (key word minimum) hardware / device requirements for Android 10 are officially given here: source.android.com/static/docs/compatibility/10/android-10-cdd.pdf and unofficially here: www.techfow.com/android-10-minimum-requirements-definitive-guide/ Older TV boxes with Android 4.4 (typically S805 processor, 1G RAM, 6G storage) have neither the processing power, nor the memory, nor the storage to satisfy those requirements. To the best of my knowledge, you can't even put Android 5 on an old 4.4 TV box without losing W-Fi, remote control, etc. But, you can do all of the things shown in "MXQ Summer 2024 Upgrade Secrets - Will it stream?" th-cam.com/video/o7qRkvLn-sg/w-d-xo.html with excellent results. Here's the problem: There are two types of Bluetooth dongles, Transmit (only), like the one shown in this video, and switched Transmit/Receive. The Transmit (only) dongle shown in this video has two connections, analog audio in and +5V power via USB. It has no USB data functions. It can just as well be plugged into a phone charger. Audio in on the dongle connects to audio out on the MBOX via the included 3.5 mm stereo cable. When powered up, the dongle converts analog audio to digital and transmits it via Bluetooth. Pairing with wireless earbuds and speakers occurs automatically. Permission is not asked for. You don't have to accept, so Bluetooth software is neither included nor required. Now, to do what you want, you would need a Transmit/Receive dongle and the switch would have to be on receive. That dongle would have to have data lines on the USB plug. Unlike the Transmit only dongle shown in this video, it would have to plug into the TV box. You couldn't run it off of a phone charger. And, that dongle would have to come with an app (compatible with the particular version of Android on your TV box) that would convert USB data to Bluetooth data. The included app would have to recognize pairing requests and allow you to accept them. Android settings would have nothing to do with that. Does such a product exist? Maybe... There are dozens, possibly hundreds of T/R USB dongles on the market. Who's tested all of them, and all of the included apps, on every TV box, with every version of Android? No one, as far as I know. If it was my TV, I would try try disconnecting, inspecting, and reconnecting the LVDS cable which connects the main digital board to the display panel assembly. One or more of its leads might have loosened (thermal expansion caused by dust buildup) or simply become corroded. Procedure costs nothing. Might fix the problem. Good luck. Thanks for asking.

You should be able to download everything you need using whatever browser is already on the box. Unless your TV box didn't come with a browser... In that case, using a computer: 1. "Download the Via browser" directly from the developer at viayoo.com/en/ 2. Go to apkmirror.com. Search for "Google Play services" (three words, NOT two words) and download the latest version for Android TV box. 3. Still at apkmirror.com, search for "Netflix by Netflix, Inc." and download the latest version for Android TV box. 4. Copy all three apps to a USB flash drive formatted FAT32, or NTFS. Drives formatted exFAT generally don't work with Android. 5. Transfer the USB flash drive to your TV Box. Install all three apps using FileBrowser, NOT AppInstaller, NOT Google Play Store, NOT any otherapp installer or play store. If Google Play Protect / Google Play store tries to stop you from installing Via, stop you from updating Google Play services, or stop you from updating Netflix, turn OFF Google Play protect or better still, disable Google Play Store in Settings. 6. Sounds like the common problem (individual LED failure) shown here. Only way to know for sure is to take ithe display panel assembly apart and find out.

@LawrencePina oh my it's nearly impossible for me to take apart the lcd into its separate pieces. But I'm looking at replacing the entire lcd assembly.

In the event you have an MBOX with Android 5 or greater on it, please watch dai.ly/x81bjyc, "MBOX Ultimate Upgrade Secrets". That episode is still up to date. Regarding apkpure.com, they stopped carrying much of what we need some years ago, so it's best to use apkmirror.com, now. Using a browser on a working computer, download just the app you're looking for (say ClockSync) from apkmirror. Avoid downloading any kind of apkpure or apkwhatever installer along with it. All you want is the app. Copy the app to an NTFS or FAT32 formatted flash drive. Insert the flash drive into your MBOX, and then use FileBrowser to install it. Well the good news is that when a flickering line is behind the settings menu, it means the LCD inside the display panel assembly is fine. The problem is most likely loose connections between the digital board and the LCD. The digital board is behind the back cover of the TV. Taking a back cover off is MUCH easier than taking a display panel assembly apart. Of course, you still need someone to take a look for you, but the problem will be beneath the back cover, not in the display panel. Hope you have someone. Good luck! Thanks for commenting.

What fuse? The user-replaceable 40A on the back of a Chicago Electric sku96157 Portable Power Pack? That 40A controls both the cooling fan and the inverter. Without it, neither would function anymore. But, you say everything still works! Doesn't make sense. Otherwise, low-voltage alarms sound as power pack batteries approach minimum working voltage. If the alarm in your power pack sounds constantly, then perhaps the inverter was left on and drained the battery. If not, the inverter on/off switch might be shorted. With the fuse out. what's the battery voltage? Did you measure it? Will it take a charge? Another possibility is that there could be a short in the cooling fan or in the inverter. If that's the case, then the low voltage alarm would sound even with a new/fully charged battery, as soon as you turn the inverter/fan switch on. The alarm is warning you to turn it off. Does the inverter in your unit have the capacitor failure shown at the end of this video? It's a common problem. Hope these suggestions help. Thanks for asking. Yes, the ClockSync interface does vary from Android version to Android version. And, it's great that you solved your problem with a new router. But why didn't the old router work? All I can think of is that your MBOX is set to get network time from whatever router it's connected to and your old router was manually set to incorrect time. Perhaps its time zone setting was incorrect. Did you try manually setting the time on the old router? Did you try different firmware? I had to overwrite the most recent firmware update on my Netgear R6050-AC750 with a much older version, because the new firmware deleted the router's timer functions! The so-called firmware update also lowered WiFi power making connected devices run much slower. So, your old router might have a firmware issue. Just wondering if you tried any of these things? In any event, ClockSync should have worked (assuming your version of Android allowed you to configure it) because ClockSync ignores the router's time, ignores the ISP's time and syncs directly with an NTP server. @@LawrencePina Fist thanks for the answer, Maybe it's asleep, but ClockSync hasn't worked in any way. I restarted about 30 times, leaving it off and letting everything discharge (capacitors), and it still starts in 1969. The router is from the ISP and is obviously locked, as we all know. If you call them, they'll say it's not their fault and that nothing can be changed on the router for security reasons-typical ISP excuses. It's strange because I've never touched the NTP settings on a router before. I've seen it, but I never paid attention to it on the hundreds I've configured for my clients. But in this case, something seems to be happening. What's funny is that if I ping the NTP servers, they're not blocked. But at least this generic Chinese TV box is giving me a headache. I've seen crazy things with them; the Chinese don't respect anything. I work with TV boxes daily-some have misleading RAM and specs, and with others, the manufacturer ceased to exist years ago, yet suddenly, my clients call me saying new notifications appeared. When I check the devices, they've reconnected to some server in China and updated, adding 15 tons of bloatware with useless APKs like FindMyPet and others. When I plugged in an old router I had at home without touching any settings-a basic and old TP-Link-the problem was fixed. What I don't understand is why in this version of Android OS 10.1, ClockSync doesn't work and the menu looks different. I don't have the buttons to configure it.

@@LawrencePina Solved, was the Huawei router and the ISP refusing to change the sntp on the router, i explain the problem and then de guy says, i try, test it in a few minutes, and boom works..
