    How do you keep the GoPro in that perfect position? I’ve tried but it’s always to high or to low

    • @DonaldRidesBikes
      @DonaldRidesBikes 5 วันที่ผ่านมา

      @davidalmendariz7474 I use a pair of pliers to tighten the adjustment screw as much as possible so it's less likely to move, and also scratched a little mark on the mount so I can quickly make sure it is at the proper angle every time.

    Hey, Donald! I'm glad to have found your videos! I'm heading to Flagstaff in a week or so and onward to other places afterward. It's good to see what I can expect from the trails there! I'll also be on my hardtail. Haha...I love riding it, despite the big-eyed emoji guy :D Anyway...can you recommend some blue to blue-black trails for me? I'm not a newbie. I've been riding for 30 plus years with racing in my background. But I'm older now. I've still got skills, just not as strong. I hope you read this before I get there! Thanks! I'm really enjoying watching your rides!

    • @DonaldRidesBikes
      @DonaldRidesBikes 9 วันที่ผ่านมา

      Glad to hear you're enjoying the videos! First trail that comes to mind when you say blue-black would be Heart - it's rated blue, but one of the hardest blues in the area. Sunset is another great one - the upper section is black, lower section is blue. Or if you prefer flow and jumps, Full Sail is an awesome new blue trail that runs parallel to lower Sunset. Brookbank is one of my favorites - the middle section is green, but upper and lower are both solid blues. I'd also give an honorable mention to Lunar Tide, which branches off from middle Brookbank. These trails are all in the same area on Mt Elden, so you could even link a couple together for a longer ride. Hope this helps! Have fun!

      @@DonaldRidesBikes Thank you for the speed reply and the trail recommendations. I've looked them all up and I look forward to checking them out and riding a new area 🤩 I think I read that you are using a go-pro to record your rides. What sort of system are you using to attach it? Is attached to a harness on your chest or your helmet? Are you using a gimble as well? I'm trying to find a good solution for recording my own rides. Thanks again, Janice

    • @DonaldRidesBikes
      @DonaldRidesBikes 9 วันที่ผ่านมา

      @NomadJan Yep, I am currently using a GoPro Hero 11 Black. When I wear my full face helmet, it is zip-tied to the chin bar. Otherwise, when wearing my half shell helmet, I use the GoPro Chesty mount, no gimbal or anything else. I prefer the camera angle from the full face chin mount, and it seems to be a bit more stable, so I use that most often.
