Son of a B ..i.......Damn dude. I didn't see that coming . I'm extremely glad that you're good. That's what freaks me out about riding alone how would it take someone to find you? I ride alone also and I think about that I had a similar situation and I was thinking to myself I hope someone finds me soon. Great video reminder dude 💯👍
New helmet time🎉!
I'm glad you are OK. I am a fan of the Angi crash sensor in case I crash while riding alone.
That second face you can turn sharp and stay in the gully, I don’t hit that one either. You got the first one next time for sure
Glad your ok dude! You can replace material things. Rolling thru there pretty fast ! What size of tires and psi you run? Stay safe!!
Thanks! Tires are 29x2.6" Minion DHRs. At 26/28 psi front/rear for this ride, but I'll adjust that depending on the expected terrain for each ride.
@@DonaldRidesBikes Thanks ! Really enjoy your videos and different places you ride! Arizona seems like about the best state for the mtb life!! Ps kinda like the camera angle post crash. Shows more of the terrain your tackling!! 🤔
Hurts the man join a little bit done it but we all do it. Seems like the better we get the heart of the falls. God bless and keep the rubber down. Been there done that and still I am doing it. But I love it and I know you do tooJohn from Denver, Colorado
my man just won't quit lol
The full face helmet saved you brotha
Preride, reride, free ride!
Hey, in the brain bucket doesn’t work too. Well if it’s strapped on your handlebars. Just a heads up.
Nice ride and recovery. What helmet are you using?
It was an iXS Trigger FF, but the new one I got after this is a POC Otocon.
Hope you are good man!
Thanks! This was about a week ago, and I'm feeling better already. Just taking a few more days off the bike to be safe.
Good to hear. The helmet was more telling about the strike than the video! Glad you are good! @@DonaldRidesBikes
When was this filmed? I'm heading there tomorrow hoping there isn't much snow on the trails!
This was last Saturday, so a week ago. I haven't ridden since then, but heard from someone yesterday that there were only some small snow patches left and otherwise hero dirt.
@@DonaldRidesBikes It was perfect! And that spot you crashed is the definition of gopro effect lol. That section is real awkward to get setup for and looks soo worse in person
where's all the snow?
This was filmed last Saturday before the snow came.
Hope you are ok. Your verbal expressions after the crash indicated to me that you hit your head right away. Hope you are monitoring for concussion symptoms.
Thanks! I'm doing good, just been resting all week.
