I was thinking of you when I was playing The Finals and recording it! Even though I'm more of a thocck guy, I was really surprised how much I enjoyed the clackity clacks
Thanks man 🥰 The stock keyboard is hot swapable with their other magnetic switch but it doesn’t take mechanical keyboards like the anniversary edition unfortunately. There’s a pcba that Akko sells that will allow you to use mechanical switches though.
I literally just got this board in. They’re pretty similar but there are some differences. Most noticeable is the sound, the YOD sounds better out of box imo
Nah, rapid trigger won’t get you banned. There’s a new(ish) feature a lot of boards are utilizing called SOCD which is different than rapid trigger and the only game that’s come forward and said it’s “kickable” is csgo2. Hope this helps!
Hey I have question I am planning buying this keyboard. This Keyboard have 8000hz for real or is this fake? And After I plug that Keyboard to computer I need do Calibration? Or I dont need do that? Please answer on those questions I really need to know.
Hey man, I don't think this keyboard is "True 8K" as many people have been saying. That being said, I don't think many people would ever be able to tell if they were using an 8k keyboard. For first time use there is a switch calibration you go through which takes about 30 seconds
Tough question. I haven't had the drunkdeer in person yet so I really couldn't give you a fair comparison. The Akko was really nice though. I enjoyed my time using it. What are you specifically looking for in a Keyboard? A HE 75% keeb for like $150?
Hey, I'm here from AKKO's Twitter page. I bought the Santorini version of this board back in May and was wondering if you've ran into some of the same problems as me. My board would often drop inputs when I'm holding down key combos. Most frequently occurred on LShift+WASD. I was in contact with support which they gave me a firmware update, reported the issue to the engineers, and told me to recalibrate my keys. I've done both and it seemed to fix the problem for a bit but it still occurs sometimes. I want to love this keyboard but the inconsistent inputs make me not want to use it for my main games; arena shooters and osu!. Could it be a hardware issue and/or polling rate? What do you think? My current thoughts are that I should have aimed for the A75 from Drunkdeer instead considering it already has a solid rep.
Oh dang man. Sorry to hear that. That's unfortunate. I didn't encounter any multikey issues but by the sounds of it, there's something going on with the Nkey roll over. There's a few possibilities. It could be the keyboard either the firmware or the hardware... Which, well, sucks. It could also be the bandwidth available to your computer on the USB Header. I haven't had this issue before with a keyboard but I've had this issue before with a high polling rate mouse. it was a combination of the high polling rate and too many usb devices plugged in. Basically, I was trying to put too much stuff in the data tube. Do you have any other devices plugged in to your USB hub? It might be worth it to try unplugging everything from your USB headers except keyboard and mouse, then running an in-game test to see if the issue persists.
@@TheRageAcademy I have the keyboard plugged directly into my PC which I switch between the 007b-HE and my Wooting 60HE. Using the same cable, I haven't had this problem happen on my Wooting at all which leads me to speculate that I'm doing something wrong with the calibration. I know I'm not supposed to press too hard and I think because of that, my input drops when I'm holding the key. The software also recommends to disable backlighting with Rapid-Trigger enabled. I've kept that in mind but the issue still persists when I have lighting off and RT off at separate times so I doubt that's an effect.
@@EmtrixPacifica Maybe the board is flexing too much when the key is held? For the calibration, I just went through all the keys one by one and full pressed them like I normally would but slower. Sounds crazy, but have you tried any different USB C cables. I know it doesn't make sense since it works with the Wooting... but i've found that some devices can be picky
I just tried again calibrating with a stronger force and regular force. It still occurs when I hold a key long enough. It registers for a bit, stops for a short time, registers once, then repeats the previous two steps.
@@EmtrixPacifica Any chance they'd RMA it for you or atleast send you a new PCBA? This sounds like a headache. I didn't have to go through any of that with mine
Love the video! Was not expecting to see The Finals gameplay here, I'm pleasantly surprised.
The keyboard looks and sounds nice as well

Hi I wanna ask will I get banned in fps games for using this keyboard’s function like rapid trigger?

@@TheRageAcademy thanks a lot for the quick reply! I’m mainly playing valorant so it should be fine right?
You will be absolutely a-okay. Rapid trigger is allowed in all fps games. It’s a really great feature for counter strafing

This doesn't come with the dragon artwork box anymore. Highly disappointed.
That’s a shame. They must of changed that recently or only did it as a limited run
