i prefer fallout 2 and have a lot of it on my channel, but i also enjoy fallout 1 and even fallout 4 or new vegas

Claiming that Fallout 3 is garbage is like claiming Stalker 2 is garbage because neither could touch the glory of New Vegas! This is false, they are not garbage, just mid against New Vegas and great in a vacuum where New Vegas doesnt exist

I am more inclined towards fallout 1,2 and new vegas being real fallout trilogy, but I think fallout 3 is no too bad. Fallout 4 is pure trash though.

The one thing I hate about this game is the action points system. You need a certain amount of action points to progress the game and even open you inventory. So basically if you get swarmed by raiders and you need to switch to a more powerful weapon you better hope you spend them wisely, otherwise your pretty much screwed.

Anyone who hates Fallout 3 has no taste. It’s an amazing game. Fallout: New Vegas wouldn’t even exist if Fallout 3 wasn’t so successful and popular.

I never go to these places without a suit of power armor and an anti-material rifle, fatman, or the alien blaster. 50.MG explosive rounds eviscerated the deathclaws in the courier's mile for me at level 40.

In the begining i disliked Fallout 3 since it was too hard. But now that i have played all other Fallouts, its not so hard anymore and im actually really enjoying it. Fallout 3 is amazing

I like how they subversed the "Chosen One" trope - people will treat you like a madman (another loon in the wasteland world, what a surprise) and mock you if you introduce yourself with that title... Good luck with Fallout Tactics - I recommend playing without turn-based mode. It's more dynamic and not boring. Also setting traps is more useful there.

I watched all those hate videos about fallout 3 and my verdict about fallout 3 is decent i dont either hate it or love it, i just like it its not really a fallout game but it has some fallout spirit! but fallout 4 i disliked i hated how they fucked up the fallout leveling system made it boring for me but fallout nv is my number 1 favourite and fallout 2 is a close second i crave them playing them every year!!!

I wouldn't say gambling is 'useless'. Getting it to 50+ allows you to clean out casinos, saving having to grab up every gun and bullet to resell.

Dead money has the darkest aesthetic, the most relatable and human moral choices, and arguably the deepest themes. The gameplay isnt hindered just because you can’t walk in there and mow down everything like in FO4 DLC (*and* there’s a believable narrative reason for it). The weapons you get are cool AF and actually practical to use outside of the DLC since you can use the vending machine to reup your ammo. Finally, you can walk out with 41 gold bars if you’re able to sneak past Elijah. I cannot understand for the life of me why anyone would rate any of the others above this.

Fallout 1&2 look AMAZING COMPATED TO ALL THE OTHER FALLOUTS! they are easily the best looking games of the franchise.. many games from 1997 are!

Honestly, the issue with Fallout 3 is that it mostly narrows the scope of the game, boiling it down to the old factions without introducing any new one in a way that's significant to the story, making the systems easier and more accessible without introducing any new depth... without even making up in story since the decisions are binary "good or evil" without any complexities or caveats, also since we basically have no new factions, the America feels smaller than it should be. I'm not American, but if I remember, there are 52 states over there, and you are telling me a BoS that's having many internal issues is able to go to the other side of America? As much as you can say "Tim approved it", you still have to consider how they removed a lot of the depth that made 1, 2 or NV so special, feeling more like he was looking for a middle ground between his original vision and what Bethesda wanted, an accessible big name they can sell easily without the fear of the game being too niche. It's ok if you like Fallout 3, Fallout 76 or even Fallout 4, but calling whoever dislikes it an elitist feels disingenuous, even if an easier to understand game can make it easier to sell but I feel accessibility shouldn't come at the cost of depth, there are many stories and games that are easy to understand and get a grip with, but then hide so much meaning and questions if you look close enough

The most difficult fight I ever had in a Fallout game, so far, was in Fallout 4 Far Harbor. I had just fast traveled to my settlement on Dalton Farm. Right in the middle of an insane raid. It was so crazy, I wrote it all down. I had to greet me as I arrived, the following unhappy creatures: Skulking Fog Crawler. Pale Fog Crawler. Glowing Wolf. 2x Glowing Anglers. 2x regular Gulpers. Legendary Dusky Yao Guai. 3x Gulper Devourers. Rabid Yau Guai. Shaggy Yao Guai. The fight was insane. It was insane. EDIT: Dalton Farm was my "personal home" in the game, I totally role play and get into it. I had retired from commonwealth craziness, after having helped all the people do all the stuff and the game was basically over, the main quest anyway. I was just playing around. Dalton Farm was "my" farm, I had a large two story home, a concrete science lab down by the river for Gen3 Synth Curie, my live in research partner slash domestic acquaintance. I had eight hand-picked settlers that worked on the farm, all able-bodied and friendly folk. I didn't have a beacon set I manually hand selected people and sent them to the farm. Ten beds, a house, a science lab, a luxurious and well stocked servant quarters. I loved the waterfront. It was the best piece of land in the game, IMO and the way the player acquired it, from the Dalton family for helping them when I had first arrived. It made sense for me to make it my place. The rest of the Commonwealth could have the Commonwealth.

The quest was so bad that when I first played the game and when I got to the quest, I stopped playing for months
