0:57 I like the fact the reference the 1998 new york attack from another Monster by Zilla (Godzilla 1998) verison that Americans thought it was Godzilla but it wasn't.
This theme and this whole movie perfectly encapsulates how utterly TERRIFYING Godzilla would be if he existed. An unstoppable colossus destroying everything in its path, slowly poisoning people and the very earth around it with radiation, unable to be harmed by any known weaponry. Seeing that thing slink out of the water would be despair inducing.
I am pissed off this isnt known as Godzillas theme, instead the "Godzilla vs King Kong" Godzilla theme stuck as his theme song I would've preferred to hear this in KOTM and -1.0 (Minus One) instead of the bs we call "Godzillas theme" , i dont care if the new one sounds more heroric, if you want to pay homage to 1954 then pay homage to 1954 by using THIS theme song and not some other song, if it were up to me any other version of Godzillas theme song wouldnt exist and instead this would've stuck as Godzillas theme song, why do people think its wrong for Godzillas theme to sound sinister and depressing , just because Godzilla is a hero in most movies doesnt make it wrong for this theme song to be Godzillas theme song, it fits his character honestly, a dark, cold , tragic being, i get it most of the movies portray him as a heroic force of nature but that doesnt mean replacing his theme with a more heroic theme, theres nothing wrong with heros having sinister, evil sounding music, with that being said, Dont replace whats not replacable or doesn't need replacing like this song, I hate how now and days when people think Godzillas theme they think the heroic one and not this one #FuryOfGodzillaAsGodzillasThemeSong
The shot of Serizawa holding Emiko when she shrieks, and his scowl as he turns to look at what hes done is my favorite shot in the framchise. The decision to have the side with the eyepatch be closes to the camera is also genius. That pained turn he makes toward the camera.
Fun Fact: This was originally Godzilla’s “theme song”! The song we know today as his theme song was a military march composed by Ifukube as early as 1938!
Godzilla Comes Ashore remains as one of the most haunting and scariest pieces of music I've ever heard. It completely embodies the feeling of horror and tragedy of nuclear devastation that Godzilla represents.
Can we talk about Godzilla’s face on the jacket? He looks like he has lost his skin! He is by far the most creepiest kaiju! We had a weird creepy tadpole in Shine Godzilla, but this one… we can see that his skin got burned or worse!
If you don't know you don't know Godzilla. But basically Godzilla's about nuclear bombs and it's destruction. It's really haunting one of the scenes, says there's free Children and one mutter the mutter says that they're gonna join their father and heaven.
May mankind never have to resort to the A-Bomb or any kind of nuclear weapon ever again. If the Japanese had only surrendered, this double atrocity would have never happened, hopefully mankind learned a lesson after this, but I fear not.
When I first watched this movie I was horrified and had a dream that I will have a nightmare about Godzilla in the distance then stare at me and then destroy the city but this was done so well

The most famous (and legitimate) version of Godzilla's theme was already in the 1954 movie my dude. Just let it go, its not that deep.
@@NiB-Productions that was the military theme song tho :/

23 years later and this is still one of the best godzilla tracks (in my opinion)
I wish this would appear in the monsterverse
Anyone else in 2024 find themselves randomly humming this?
I sure am
Me me me
this dosent sound goofy, this sounds like panic
Godzilla, king if the monster,no body can beat him!
私は車の屋根に拡声器を装着してこれを再生しながら街を走りたい
Dread and helplessness in the wake of something you can’t stop.
Fact: Composer Akira Ifukube only had a WEEK to compose the ENTIRE soundtrack
And still made a banger, props to him.
It's just so sad. It's so heartbreaking, but then hearing the little girl cry for its mom. Oh my God I feel like I did something wrong.
