I’m 60 now, got all the equipment together I’m off camping 🏕️ don’t think I’ll ever stop, unless god wants me back, it’s never too late, had 3 heart attacks, bleed to the brain, was recovering from that then was hit with bacterial meningitis, since my triple heart bypass I’m feeling fine, I’m very lucky to be alive so I’m celebrating 🎉 ✌️🎉🏕️❤️💪👊👌😃

yes im 55 yrs of age and i took up wild camping about 2 to 3 yrs ago and i bought myself a cheap 2 man tent incase i didn,t like it like yeself its was the eurohike tamar 2 still got it and still use it for my winter camps. i allso noticed you have the same cook set as myself very good stuff. how are you getting on with your tamar tony have you been out in it yet mate

I'm a similar age to you. I would love to go wild camping once I have better health. Tbh I can't think of anywhere local I could get away with it without going into Northumberland. I think I have a usable tent, chair, etc. One day I'll get to do it

Don't worry about not having done a longer campout recent scientific studies show that just 3 hours in the woods relieves depression reduces anxiety blood pressure and all other kinds of wonderful things for your body and your mind. So just enjoy. And again don't worry you don't have any dangerous critters in England except the two-legged kind.

Well done mate and it must be a great feeling doing this on your own. I never did this on my own but I do make a lot of trips into the wildness but with others. I haven't thought about solo but the more I see these videos the more inspired I get. Cheers from Australia

My wife askes me " you not bothered about being out over night on your own ? "What about loons out there to get you "? I point out that the most dangerous thing out there is ME ! Walking poles , yep I use them .. for putting up my Lan shan and going down hill ! Like you ,I am cracking on a bit .. My last walk was Pen Y Fan last week . BUT not the easy way .. from the rear up the steep paths . Very true what you say about keeping going at our age. I do it to prove to myself " I'm not too buggered yet " !

Missed this one Tony, nice to see you out again, feeling you with the get fit tip. Did Pen Y Fan last month and camped on top, that was hard work wheezed my way up lol. Done Dartmoor a few times notably Yes Tor last week. I'm going to have to try and film some.
