There's so many things I missed out that I wanted to talk about but I guess that's really fitting for the overall message! there is so much nuance and imperfection, we're all so different, practising magic catered and suited to our individual needs, hence why we butt heads sometimes online and come across these problems. One video cannot solve nor address all the problems but its a step of the way there! I'll likely make more videos on the topics touched on in this video in the future, as I rushed some of them in the end because of my dying camera battery 🥲

I def agree regarding the translation of practice to content because so much of it is impossible to share due to the nature of the work. I only recently began looking for other witchy creators on TH-cam, as I knew I didn’t want to be judging myself and my content against theirs. I am now happy enough with my own creations that I am finally branching out and watching some other “witch-tube” folk
Thank you for your openness! I recognized myself so often in your words. I have a really small TH-cam channel and (almost) never do b-roll stuff, except where there's really something to see and it really makes sense. I've sometimes had comments asking why I don't show something, it's so boring 😒 At times like that, I find it really frustrating making videos at all. I like watching other people do it and I'm impressed by how much time and energy goes into it 😳 I just don't have that, so it stays with sit down videos and I understand everyone who keeps it that way. At the end of the day, it's about the info, not the look. And the candles! I feel the same way, you can't get them here in Germany at reasonable prices either, they're all US imports.

As an Elder & Gypsy descent. Usually the videos that are elaborate on here are all for show. Putting on magic shows is a long held tradition for the witches, gypsies, and so forth. 😊
I love your channel and how normal you are, I think society as whole needs more videos like yours. This hashtag has me wanting to get back into videos. .we used to make videos like yours years ago, no theatrics just real information, maybe an intro if we wanted to be fancy.
Over consumption of Social Media - Social Media, as a newer witch, I have learned a lot this way. It makes witchcraft more real if you don't have an in person community. I really think it helps newer witches. **Smile** Thank you Ari!
You mentioned having a talk with tea and a blanket. Perhaps doing a live with tea and a blanket and talk and interact with your followers as such. Think that would be pretty laid back and fun 😊☕
I myself have a very Celtic Ancestory but I was born and raised and live in the United States and I have had a hard time finding other like you and Hearth that are from the USA not the UK not that I don't fallow and love you both and I've followed for years. But I'd love to find other American witch and education. But yes I agree with you and this video.

i sometimes do the instant reaction just to see how wrong i can go :) it´s horrible for ego to go against your better judgement, but as long as you´re not serious, it only takes one night to get over the foolishness! my D&D alignment is chaotic good, so i can be pretty wild but not actually hurtful. such old fashioned design, in my own system you create a personality from 300 villain or hero traits and it keeps changing dynamically all through the campaign (the best way for a designer to be, unpublished but seemingly better than all your competition). if you publish it you´re stuck with it!
