Will this work on a 2016 Ford Edge?

You get what you pay for. Those ollie ones are not going to stay square and true not being boxed

Purchased a used key from another vehicle and the programming worked for me in 2016 Explorer, but I have one issue. The key is not detected by the vehicle on start up. It will remote start, lock and unlock remotely.. etc. I have checked and replaced the battery, but unless the key is in the slot in the console, it will not start. The original keys all work as designed afterwards... Any ideas?

I just purchased this exact battery from your Amazon link and after replacing it in my Stockwell v1 speaker, the speaker starting getting really hot and white smoke was coming out of it within 3 minutes of installation! I rushed to take the battery out and test the speaker when plugged into AC without a battery and it still worked. But I have no idea what happened with this. I just ordered another replacement battery thinking this one may have been defective from the factory. But if anyone know why this would happen with a new identical replacement battery that was never even plugged into the AC outlet to charge after installation, please let me know. I love this speaker and would hate to trash it.

Dude you are the freaking GOAT for making this video!!! I seriously can't thank you enough!! I was about to rip my hair out trying to figure out what the hell was wrong with my car. I even changed the transmission fluid thinking that that was the problem. I'm beyond relieved that a simple, $30 part ended up fixing the multiple issues I was having. You're the man for making this!!

how did you get your radio upgraded?

I think I might buy this speaker. Bose’s batteries are soldered on and not as easily replaceable. Even then it’s a hit and a miss. Once thier battery does, They don’t work even when plugged in.

Any chance I could get my 2011 ford explorer the newer key fob style?

I have to say thank you bro so I had the same problem but with my 2015 Ford Mustang where my car wouldn't accelerate past 60mph and then I would always get Hillis Asist not available on the dash and I also notice that I was able to turn the car on without pressing on the break so that was a sign that that sensor was bad so I swapped it for a new one and everything is back to normal on my Mustang so thank you so much for saving me time and headaches

Is the emergency key the same size as original so it will fit and work?

These new vehicles are sooo over engineered…..if you need help holding the brake while on an incline you shouldn’t be operating a motor vehicle.

I agree with you about the cost of the Fire Ball Squares but I think and am convinced by sight and having never used them that the Fire Ball Squares are more complete - hello greetings from Italy

Should these Speaker work off the charger or does the battery have to be installed

If I was in a fabrication shop it would be the Fireball every time. Fabricated steel has so many potential ways to have an error creep into them in the course of everyday use.

Thank you! I drove on some snowy roads with 4-wheel drive. Dropped it back to 2-wheel drive and parked it. I'm unsure if that caused this, but that was the only thing out of the ordinary. I went into the house, and about an hour later, my wife said, your truck lights are on. Thinking it was a dome light, I went out in the snow in my basketball shorts and T-shirt. I ended up spending the next 30 minutes troubleshooting. My back lights were on even when my car was off. The "Hill Start Assist Not Available" warning showed on my dash when I started my car. I did a little research and found this video. I bought the part and switched it out. I had trouble getting the old switch out; give it a good, healthy twist and pull it straight out. I found the replacement part for 17.99 at O'Reilly's. THANK YOU!

Yup thats a common issue. Chevy forgets to bolt down driver seats

I would have made a separate L bracket for the light to attach it to. Now it's tough to remove the seat quickly.

So looking at eBay I see key fobs similar to yours but listed as for 2017s do you think that would work?

The fireball squares are cast and milled down, making them superior in trueness, and they'll stay true as long as they are taken care of properly. Not saying the ollies are bad, but you get what you pay for in the long run

Very misleading title and clearly more than 25 minutes to make it useable. Poorly designed as well

I personally don't like the final result, as you pointed out too modern for the thruxton. But i really loved the DIY solution and the way you made a specific bike part with almost no-money. i want to remove the rear fender and here (italy) we have to leave the Plate on, but i really hate to spend 300 euros (and maybe more) for those stupid kit! that's why i really appreciate your idea

Thanks a ton man! This fixed my “Hill start assist not available”. It was $32 at auto zone. It sure was a bitch removing the switch even after I turned it a quarter clockwise. Almost had to break the old one to get it out. New one went in easy.

The 3 inch Ollie squares are also great for wood working small jobs like small boxes, drawers, etc. He's a one man show and a great guy also.

Worked for me. Hill assist fault and back light wont turn off. Changed this sensor and truck is back to normal!

I will pile on. Not sure how much you just saved me but I know it was a lot. For others reading comments, my issues were brake lights staying on, hill descent message, and my engine causing deacceleration once I hit about 40 mph. I thought for sure it was a computer issue that was going to cost me $$$$$$$. It was this $35 part. Took me 5 minutes to replace. Thanks big time Alex

My 2017 hill descent light came on showing its off. And something about advanced trac off. No problem w it running. Same fix ??
