Thanks for sharing! I've got a long wheel base 4WD Hiace camper. Do you recommend the KYB gas-a-just or the monomax? The lady is worried about a bumpy ride on dirt roads.

That camper has to be over the recommended towing limit, not to mention all the added weight and suspension components you have. It's very selfish to take that camper on the road with that vehicle in traffic. I know because I have a GX. I'd never dream of towing something so big it needs 2 axles. My wife has a Sequoia for that. Quit being a s**tbag, follow the rules.

Look kids a real Jeep! And I don’t have lockers, a lift, sway bar disconnects or had to use its winch 😉 … would if it has power bricks or steering 😂

I went across a river that was about 4 times that width and about that deep in my FJ40, got about half way and it started to float, ended up about 100 yards downstream before the wheels started to touch the bottom, but it made it!

What mph does it go on the interstate?

The suspension has been seriously screwed up when it was raised. You can tell by the angle of the steering rod from the pitman arm to the left front wheel. Looks like the panhard rod wasnt relocated. Caster is most likely screwed up as well

Hey brother, what did you do with the coastal bumper?

I bought a 98 Pathfinder all stock, low miles 152k. I have seen how those Pathfinders could look with wide tires and lift kits. And in the end I decided to keep the original ride height, and stock rims, and went with a set of 235 75 15 Wildpeak AT3 tires.Glad I did, later on the trail I was out performing my buddies lifted jeep, and he was running 30s size tires. My Pathy might not look mean, but she does have the clean OE look, and is very capable and at half the cost of the mean look. I did put on a set of black rims, stock offset though, couldn't stand chrome wheels on a beige color SUV, plus they go well with the Wildpeak tires.

How far in can you get before the terrain gets as rough as you started to show? How far is is just a gravel bumpy road?

I've been eyeballin' this exact 255/80-17 and the 255/85 (Mickey's Baja Boss A/T) for over a YEAR, now... trying to wrap my head around what I know in my heart is right... and what's right is the fact that this 80-seeries Wildpeak weighs within 2 lbs of a C-Load Range KO2, is $55 cheaper AND remains a stout E-Load Range tire. Win/win/win. Gonna wrap 'em around a set of five Method 705 in Titanium (color) 17 X 8.5 (max rec wheel width) +25mm and while almost 5/16" taller than the 0 offset 17 X 8.5 Motegi Trailite/285/70-17 that's on the truck now should not rub while approaching full steering lock in reverse... and the whole shebang should weigh just 10 lbs more per corner but with a far greater degree of capability, resistance to puncture, and have the 10-inch-wide tire look I've been looking forward to having on my truck. blah blah blah... Howdy mate from all the way over here in Australia, I’ve just done or in the process of doing exactly what you have done , just sold my 80 and looking for a clean troopy.. whivh I may add is proving tough . How do you find the ride on leaf springs up front champ , on highway driving ? I know it won’t be as comfy as the 80 coils or round but wanted to know your thoughts , any info would be fantastic.. cheers champ
