Spray some starter fluid in the cylinder first before you start disassembling your carburetor. Really going straight to taking your carburetor apart and replacing parts is a disservice to people when you should do basic troubleshooting.

Have you done long rides with it. How is still holding?

Yo this fixed my problem. I didn’t have to replace the jet though. But for some reason the fuel looked dirty when I drained it and discovered that the air filter WAS NOT placed by previous owner when I bought it. Needless to say the inside of the carburetor was dirty. Works perfectly now. Thank you very much!

I hate watching these videos. The excess nonsense at the beginning. I have a 4550 that is mimicking these symptoms. Cleaned the arrestor, still, same issue. I'm wondering if I need to triage the whole exhaust. This customer didn't do that kind of maintenance and may have shot himself in the foot

Steve from advanblack TH-cam channel shows you how to tuck in your am/fm radio antenna and buy the little rubber grommet to cover the hole at Harley dealership for cheap if you want to listen to the radio? You need to do a little bit of modification to the antenna holder to do so. Makes the bike look a whole lot cleaner in the back imo.

It was a Sunday took that part apart follow your directions on it clean the part out with my air compressor put it back together and I worked thanks a lot big help. God bless.

I would add that you should be careful when working under a raised deck. If it falls it becomes a dangerous piece of sheet metal against your arm.

I bought a predator 5000 duel fuel generator this spring. I have been using it everyday on propane only. It recently began randomly tripping overload for no reaaon. Ideas?

Hey I did this on mine, got it all back together as taken apart but it runs again, however the moving feature doesn’t work the rear wheel don’t spin when you push the arm forward. So is something else also broken or was something not connected properly? I checked under the mower and the belt still connected to the drive gearbox on back wheels

Exact same lawnmower had the same issue... wouldn't start. My lawn was in desperate need of mowing and called a local lawnmower shop to get that part and they said replacing the main jet wouldn't fix the issue and tried to sell me the entire carburetor assembly. He said they had that part in stock but didn't sell the main jet alone. I was about to go buy it, but decided to take the carburetor apart to look at the jet first. Followed every step in your video and cleaned the old jet instead of replacing it. Put everything back together and first pull... the lawnmower started and stayed running to cut my entire lawn. No clue if next time I start it it'll start... but sometimes just cleaning the carburetor assembly, including main jet works.

What does it mean when the pump is pressuring up the wand so much when you let go of the trigger, the trigger will not work again and you have to take apart the one and press the little valve inside hard on the cement to release all the built up pressure.?? Is this my dump valve that is not dumping?

I thought it was blowing compression through the broken head gasket into the crank case via the valve galley. I was thinking maybe it could Be also the rings because of the cylinder lying horizontally unevenly wearing oil & compression rings. But I guess I was wrong.I'll have to have a closer look and hopefully it's just a Head gaskin.

I service mine. Clean the jet. It still wouldnt wouldnt start. I put in a new jet. First pull. It crunk. I got 2 jets for $7.00 amazon
